I was hoping Post Malone would have lots of singles precede the album. He's big enough of an artist that I feel like he could be one to notch 6+ top tens from an album. Hollywood's Bleeding got 5 but it also had 4 singles come out before the album...

honestly if he releases 4 singles before the album, those singles will probably block album tracks from debuting in the top ten anyway so from a top ten standpoint I don't think this changes much. he'll most likely be notching a couple if he drops the entire project at once.
I''m guessing he might go the "deluxe edition" route a lot of artists, especially in hip-hop but across all genres really, have been going for. that way he won't have to cut the era short.

Based on what Dre(London) said the album is not only coming this year, but real soon. This will be the first time he drops an album with either 1/0 singles leading up to it. Hmm. How is Circles doing on Spotify as of now, 10 months after its release? It's #41 right now, and it would be higher if it wasn't for Juice WRLD's album bomb. It's above hits that came after it like Intentions and Rain On Me, not doing too bad it seems |

People on here were projecting Popstar to debut at #9/#10. at least they'll be able to replace the void left by Toosie Slide's plummet I hope I'm proven wrong but right now, I don't see POPSTAR or GREECE having much longevity, especially in the top 10. Not that I care that much anyways. They're throwaways Drake gifted to Khaled that might both debut in the top 10. That's as much as I care about both songs. Maybe I'd be more invested if they were lead singles off Drake's album. |
