After gotportugal's comment, I assumed "Last Nite" was his 50. It would have made more sense than this.

I first discovered Christine back in 2015 when she opened up for Marina on her Halloween show, ever since I've loved her music. This song just has a really cool production to it that I particularly enjoy. 18. Christine and the Queens - Doesn’t Matter

This is the first time that I genuinely really got into a Christine song, and I think it has a large part to do with the production choices. I think they complement her voice well here, where I didn't get that feeling elsewhere.

I knew this was going to be a bad set for me going in, but I still figured this was one of the safest bets to make the top ten in my top ten.
Guess not.

I've been meaning to revisit Golden Hour. "Slow Burn" has been on my mind a lot lately, and "High Horse" is "High Horse". I want to see if the rest of the album holds up.
If this is any indication, I think it'll hold up well.

Something about this song just *clicks* for me. I listened to it so much while commuting to and from school, and listening to this when it's almost nighttime in the city just really hits different. Another overall solid album as well. 14. Maggie Rogers - Retrograde

Part of the fun of watching Billie grow into what she is now is seeing where she came from and how far she's come. Songs like "Ocean Eyes" and "Bellyache" are fine, but there's a stark contrast in quality when comparing it to what should we release a few years later.
She has been growing at an exponential rate, and I think she really could be special.
