The album that never ends... I mean 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY' out now!

So based on comments I've seen on other forums, I seem to be in the minority when it comes to liking Anyone. I can see why people think it's generic but I still quite like it.

It's very rare for anyone to like anything of his now... Which is wild imo, but I enjoy the bops, side-eye his christianity and enjoy what he does... I stan, but I would love some edm bops (but I KNOW that most of that comes from loving that genre and that was a very late 00s/early 10s vibe so most artists won't "go back")

So it seems he's going for more of a pop/ac sound, total opposite of Changes. I'm ok with it, although I hope a upbeat dance bop is on here somewhere. Fine by me!

Wouldn't that be on his label for submitting to pop categories...? Scoot Voodoo. They low key probably thought he wouldn't have a chance in the R&B categories . See, I thought they submitted to R&B but Grammys moved it to Pop? I think he has a much better chance in r&b categories instead of pop because it’s probably a smaller group and has less competition, he has other big names to contend with in the pop categories. Like would Beyoncé win as many Grammys if she were in the pop categories? No insult to her, but just using her as an example.

I haven't posted here for long time. Anyway according to Billboard article, "Monster" is also on JB6. I don't think so but if it's true then spotify streams at 930M already.
Also it seems Justin shot a music video yesterday. I think next single is dropping same time as album pre-order

I assume Holy and Lonely will be on the album. After the 5-year break between Purpose and Changes, I'm glad this one is coming so soon after.

Whoever approved of that album cover, the sad boy aesthetic, the greenlighting, and the album name deserves to get fired

Hardly. Rolling Stone HOME MUSIC MUSIC NEWS Justin Bieber Details New Album ‘Justice’ Pop star’s sixth LP will feature previously released singles “Holy,” “Lonely,” and “Anyone” JON BLISTEIN FEBRUARY 26, 2021 12:30PM EST BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 31: Justin Bieber performs onstage during NYE Live with Justin Bieber, presented by T-Mobile, at The Beverly Hilton on December 31, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images for T-Mobile) Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images Justin Bieber will release his sixth studio album, Justice, March 19th via RBMG/Def Jam Recordings. A full tracklist for the record has yet to be announced, but it will feature Bieber’s three most recent solo songs, “Holy,” featuring Chance the Rapper; “Lonely,” featuring Benny Blanco; and “Anyone, which arrived earlier this year. “In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet, we all crave healing — and justice — for humanity,” Bieber said in a statement. “In creating this album, my goal is to make music that will provide comfort; to make songs that people can relate to, and connect to, so they feel less alone. Suffering, injustice, and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren’t alone. Music can be a way to relate to one another and connect with one another. I know that I cannot simply solve injustice by making music, but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet, and each other, that we are that much closer to being united. This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal.”

I like the idea of that album cover, gives me 2002/2003 vibes. Where the hair police that vilified Katy Perry at though? Cackling at the hair Justin, Shawn, and Ed have been serving us.

So you’re profiting from pseudo white-saviourism? I wouldn’t have him do interviews anymore. He isn’t very articulate.

Meh. I'll give it a listen but not expecting too much. Looking forward to the Daniel Caesar and Giveon collabs though, hoping those are good.
My favorite single so far is "Anyone" but I don't come back to any of them too much.

Who releases an album called “Justice” and leads it off with singles like “Holy,” “Lonely,” and “Anyone?” I can only assume that the actual title is “Justin” and iOS auto-corrected it to “Justice.”
I don’t know what happened, but he completely lost any sense of artistic taste around 2017.

"What Do You Mean?" debuted atop the Hot 100 dated Sept. 19, 2015; "Sorry" began a three-week reign on Jan. 23, 2016; and "Love Yourself" supplanted the latter for a two-week command starting on Feb. 13, 2016. Bieber has since ruled the Hot 100 as featured on DJ Khaled's "I'm the One" (one week, 2017) and Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's global juggernaut "Despacito" (a then-record-tying 16 weeks, beginning the following frame, 2017) and with "Stuck With U," with Ariana Grande (one week, 2020). Bieber boasts seven No. 1s on the Billboard 200 albums chart, including his last six entries dating to 2011. Will Justice become his eighth leader? If it drops as expected that day, its first week of data tracking will run through March 25, setting up (Beliebers, schedule a reminder) March 28 as the day that Billboard would likely announce highlights of the Billboard 200 chart (dated April 3) on which the album would debut.

The Target bonus track is called Angels Speak. First, they cry. Then, they speak.
Edit: MLK Jr. has writing credits on opening track 2 Much, as well! Also, why does Gotye have writing credits on Hold On. Is it because the melody in the chorus sounds like Somebody That I Used To Know and they didn't want to get sued?

It's funny. As much as I loved Somebody and played it out, Hold On didn't even make me think of that song at all, but I guess I get it. The Marvin Gaye Estate has these labels SHOOK!
