Hey So I've been very bored during quarantine, and have been working on this list of my top 100 favourite rap songs of all time, and after whole lotta changes, I'm finally (somewhat pleased) with it. So I thought, to celebrate my return to Pulse, why not share my list with my favourite strangers on the internet! I'm a person who usually sticks to only a few artists, so don't expect 50 different rappers on this list. I've grown up to many of these songs, but I've lately been expanding my hip hop knowledge. This list isn't perfect, and I will probably change it while posting it. Follow along if you will. i don't care (yes i do) filthy's favourite 100 rap songsWill start posting soon
hit me up if you want to be tagged :)

Honorable mention #1A$AP Rocky feat. Kendrick, Joey, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson & Big Klit - "1Train"Album: LONG.LIVE.A$AP 2013What a song this is. One of the absolute best highlights in Rocky's discog. How does one artist have this many great artists on one song on their DEBUT album, and still manage to outshine them? It's the magic of lord pretty flacko, and this is only his first song of many to come.

Honorable mention #2Nas - "The Message"Album: It Was Written1996
Obviously one of the greatest songs in hip hop history. I gotta respect Nas for what he did for the rap game, and there's no denying this song is incredible. But it didn't click as well as some other songs of his...

Alright, I'm going to start the real list now. I'm probably going to do many changes during this because i don't believe one can have a definitive top 100 list. It's always bound to change, with new discoveries and experiences. #100The Roots - "You Got Me"Album: Things Fall Apart1999This is probably the least hippity hoppity song on this list. I love East Coast rap, and this is just a likeable classic. I think I discovered it here on Pulse back in the days actually hmmm. RIP Malik B

#99Travis Scott - "ASTROTHUNDER"Album: ASTROWORLD2018An absolutely underrated gem on ASTROWORLD. Astrothunder is one of those songs that just sets the mood. The atmosphere it creates is just mesmerizing. It's soo underrated in Travis' discog. Best production on the album, with the help of John Mayer and Thundercat.

#96Noah Carter - "Come Alive"Album: Couch Dreams2017Noah Carter is a Danish rapper, who broke through the Danish rap game with this single. It was Denmark's best shot at international rap success, but unfortunately, "Come Alive" only did well domestically. I really recommend giving this a listen; it's such a groovy song. Noah Carter's voice and overall style are very similar to Pop Smoke's.

#95Madvillain - "Figaro"Album: Madvillainy2004
MF Doom's work has been growing on me a lot recently, and Figaro is one of my favourites on the Madvillain album. Doom's flow and Madlib's production is the best pair in hip-hop history.

#85KESI - "Ekstra"2018 Yet another danish song, this one in danish language. KESI spits some of the best bars in Danish rap while rapping over a sharp hook. This one is probably one of the most memorable songs in recent danish music history, due to that very hook and KESI's rapping abilities. Basically, the lyrics are about being "extra" and living life to the fullest
