#18Kanye West f/ Kendrick Lamar - "No More Parties In LA"Album: The Life Of deleted2016Kanye and Kendrick rapping together is an unusually good combination. IMO, Kanye outrapped Kendrick, which is a rare thing to do for any rapper. The storytelling and Ye and Dot switching stories is an exciting idea, and it works well. Not to mention the fantastic production, this song is phenomenal. willapted33 MoD @matthewlam Zach

#17J. Cole - "4 Your Eyez Only"Album: 4 Your Eyez Only2016Absolutely amazing track. Cole really embraces the story of James McMillian (rip), and it's obvious that he's very heartfelt about it.

#16Kanye West f/ Kid Cudi - "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1"Album: The Life Of deleted2016I don't even know. Kanye's lyrics are so bad that they become good. The beat drop is the best in rap. Ever.

#15A Tribe Called Quest - "Mind Power"Album: Beats, Rhymes & Life1996Q-Tip and Phife Dawg murder their verses. They sound incredible on this classy jazz beat.

#4Joey Bada$$ f/ Capital Steez - "Survival Tactics"Album: 19992012I'll never wrap my head around that Joey was only 17 when this masterpiece was released. Like he wrote bars better than any rapper could ever do in their entire career. Steez also MURDERED his verse. RIP, what potential he had.

#3Travis Scott f/ Kacy Hill - "90210"Album: Rodeo2015Legendary. The beat switch. The rapping, kacy hill's vocals, the atmosphere this song creates. Everything about 90210 is perfect. Travis isn't known for his rapping, but he really shines here. 90210 is one of those songs that take you to the other dimension

#2Kanye West f/ Rick Ross - "Devil In A New Dress"Album: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy2010Devil In A New Dress feels so majestic and grandiose. Kanye's brilliant use of the sample makes him feel superior. And Rick Ross' verse is probably the best feature from the 2010s.

#1A Tribe Called Quest - "Electric Relaxation"Album: Midnight Marauders1993This is it—my favourite rap song of all time by my favourite rap group of all time. Electric Relaxation is fantastic in so many different ways, but my absolute favourite element is Phife Dawg and Q-Tip repeatedly switching flows and rapping over one another. Tribe mixes back and forth from Check The Rhime and are braggadocios with their extremely clever lines and metaphors.
Thanks to the guys following along. I hope you enjoyed this list and hopefully agree with some of it (and please let me know your thoughts on it!) I had fun putting this list together, so I'm considering making it into a rankdown if there's enough interest.
