I’m not sure what indulge is talking about either, unless he’s referring to the fact that if there’s a murder, it’ll probably be taking place in Kansas once you find out where he ranked “Slow News Day”! 🙃🙈

Well if the joke is that Reba is loading her gun based on my post why would she murder someone in Georgia? Just going out there killin' people just to kill them.

Also, random sidebar, but the fact that Terri responded to one of my tweets once makes me want to tweet her again to see if she wants to follow along with this series 😂 I mean, we’re basically bffs!

1) Which songs will be in the top 2? "She Didn't Have Time" and "Damn Right"
2) What will be last place? Anything other than "Slow News Day" in last place would be a mistake
3) Which songs will be in the top 5? "She Didn't Have Time", "Damn Right", "Not Enough Tequila", "Life Goes On", and "Bigger Windows"
4) What song will be most polarizing? "Show News Day" and maybe something like "Cowboy Days" Least polarizing? "She Didn't Have Time"
5) Which of the singles will place highest? Where will it place? "She Didn't Have Time" at the top for the win
6) Which of the singles will place lowest? Where will it place? See #2
7) What will be the highest-placing album track? Where will it place? "Not Enough Tequila" or "Life Goes On" with one of them in the top three
8) Which album tracks would you prefer to see do well? The title track along with "Travelin' Soul" and "Bigger Windows"
9) Any other thoughts/predictions? There really isn't one bad song to be found on this album with only "Slow News Day" being the outlier (how and why was this ever released as a single???).

My path is like a broken sidewalk With cracks and stones and tearstained raindrops That testify to the dreams that won’t let go. I wanna know, can you love this travelin’ soul?

It was definitely not a last place contender at first, but as submissions kept coming in "Travelin' Soul" continued to travel closer and closer to the bottom, until it pretty much had no prayer of finishing anywhere other than last place. Its path was definitely like a broken sidewalk 😂 Honestly, this song did NOT deserve last place... The melody is beautiful, and Terri's vocal is masterful. It's one of the more subdued moments on an otherwise fairly uptempo album, which is its main claim to fame....although tbh the uptempos are all SOOOOOOO GOOD that I found myself putting this in my own bottom 2 despite loving it so much :( On most people's albums, this would have deserved to escape the bottom 3 at the minimum. Despite the love coming from tim's #2 and austin's #5, this song got more last placers than any other song. It was far from a unanimous last place though; in fact, there are still FOUR songs remaining that got multiple last place ranks!!! This album's so strong, nobody could agree to shit on any individual song!!

Well this rankdown is cancelled. I actually had this feeling in the pit of my stomach that “Travelin’ Soul” might be out first, but I didn’t want to trust that hunch.

"Travelin' Soul" has always been a snooze to me. It doesn't hold a candle to the stronger ballads like the lead single or the two about booze (Whiskey and Tequila). It's still not a bad song and would maybe be top half for me on a few other albums, but this is her magnum opus imo so it just doesn't compare. I'd prob put it top 5 or close to it on a weaker album like How I Feel.

I have to say that this is bummer of a way to start off not just this album rankdown but the album series in general. “Travelin’ Soul” deserved so much better then getting regulated to last place and I’m even a bit more disappointed to see it get not one but four bottom rankings. As a listener of songs our own life experiences often have a way of impacting the way we hear or can relate to a song, and therefore I think this is why the majority just can’t relate much to this. Speaking for myself, there’s so much told in the story of this song that I can personally relate to and feel like if I had one Terri Clark song to describe myself this one would be it.

Okay, but from this point forward we are going to refrain from using false adjectives such as "weak" in front of any of her albums. Especially the albums from the first half of her career.

I was a straight “A”, straight-laced, Levelheaded as they come. And parked at the Sonic, isn’t that ironic ,When my whole world came undone. One slot over was a calf-roper givin’ me his George Strait smile. And before I knew, Miss Goody-Two-Shoes was two steppin’, runnin’ wild!

I have a feeling the next song would have done MUCH better if LBTrocks had participated... 👀 And I mean no shade by this statement, because "Cowboy Days" SLAYS!! I literally just think it sounds like a song that would be right in Flops' wheelhouse :) "Cowboy Days" is the most raucously uptempo song on the album, and tbh that raucous sound is undoubtedly what led to it being a song that struggled to get a ton of support among us. However, these uptempos laced with attitude are always right in Terri's vocal wheelhouse! She is every bit as charismatic of a vocalist as Queen Reba McEntire herself when you give her a good old honky tonk stomper. This is the type of song that is very distinctly "Terri", to the extent that I could literally not imagine anybody else singing it as well as she does. castleoblivion26 loses his last place here. Gurl, you cannot TELL me that you would reject a calf roper with a George Strait smile if you should have the good fortune of having one manifest himself right next to you at the Sonic while you're waiting for your popcorn chicken. I may be Pulse's token straight male, and even I can recognize that that would be an experience that everybody enjoys 😂

Before this thing crumbles ya better think it through, ‘Cause you’re gonna have to live with what ya can’t undo. Day by day, night after night, The truth is gonna hit you right between the eyes. You’re gonna see the wreckage all around.

Rounding out our bottom 3 and kicking off our top 10, we say goodbye to the album's closing track, "Tear It All Down". This song is still pretty good, but tbh I have always found it to be veering a little bit to the direction of annoying. Not very far! But even a teeny tiny bit of annoying is enough to throw a song straight to the bottom of this perfect album, at least for me. On top of that, the lyrics here are among the most basic and fluffy on the album. However, with her signature alto twang, Terri once again turns in a perfect vocal performance at least! Myself and someguy lose our last place, while codyj100 and castleoblivion26 painfully lose a top 3. I'll go ahead and stop there for tonight. Tomorrow night, we'll see what kind of shenanigans we could possibly bear witness to next! Maybe even our first #1 loss?!!
