I watched this for 5 minutes, had to shut it off, just not the same with no audience.

Yeah I feel like these were pretty pointless. I guess the attempt was there and still a step up from the VMAs. I’m scared for the Grammys.

When are the AMA’s? If these awards shows are going to be produced with no audience they need to cancel it now.

I really missed Kelly running around the audience. Her performance was great but the show as a whole felt lacking. Just like the ACMs. Not having an audience for the performers is a massive miss.

The Jonas Brothers winning 2 awards is a joke.

Okay that lineup was tragic... when you have Sia and Brandy performing on the main stage you know you’re desperate for acts. And then you have Billie and Lizzo there but couldn’t get them to perform?!? No Taylor or Ariana or Drake...
I couldn’t sit through the last hour and a half. Horrible.

Kelly hosting was the only good thing about this awards show.

The Jonas Brothers winning 2 awards is a joke. How is it a joke when this show is supposed to be based on statistics? Did the numbers not add up?

I found Post Malone's "performance" shameful, attention-seeking, and weird. There will be no further rebuttals or discussion as I have said everything that I will say on this matter.

Last night's airing of the Billboard Music Awards on NBC was down nearly 62% in the coveted A18-49 demo (0.8 vs 2.1) and down 55% in viewers (3.6m vs 8.0m) from the 2019 airing which aired in May.

Those ratings are well-deserved for such a horribly planned event after having such a long delay.
Ofcourse when Billboard is tasked in taking initiative after unforeseen events they do a terrible job at it. Much similar to how they've dealt with the charts.

I’m confused... don’t we already know the top 5? Like didnt the list come out awhile ago? The top 5 leaked a long time ago, but it’s not currently published on the BB site. IIRC, they were planning on doing this long drawn-out reveal that would culminate with the top 5 being revealed on the show before it was postponed. Still nothing new on the site. I've been expecting them to have a whole shitload of Decade-End charts, not just the overall artist lists or Top Hot 100 Songs. Things like Top Hot 100 Artists, R&B Songs, Artists, all that stuff. It's like they have a spot designed for everything, but just haven't posted them. It's been over a year since their random tracking period ended. LOL. Billboard is probably about to have a bloodbath of firings tomorrow, so posting DE charts isn't top of mind.

She didn't. It would have been cool. She was there to present an award to Garth Brooks.

Can’t expect good ratings when you’re presenting awards to songs that feel ancient by now and have performers that no one really cares about (even post who is at the end of his era and didn’t announce or release anything new). The whole thing was a hot mess.

I think their biggest mistake was postponing this in the first place. This show should have happened in May with virtual performances and acceptance speeches. It's not like they're the Grammys, where no one really knows who's winning the award until the day of.

Alicia looked great, Lil Nas X didn't know how to behave. I swear I’ve seen that post Malone performance before.
I liked all the Vote masks and attire, Lizzo and En Vogue caught my eye.

The people who never win awards are the same ones saving all these lackluster awards shows recently. chloe x halle, doja and Lizzo are all I remember from the last few shows.

Did Post Malone really win 9 awards yesterday?
Did they add categories or something. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Not surprised the ratings aren't good at all. They didn't announce the Artist Of The Decade at all either and giving awards to songs that most of the GP have moved on isn't a good sign at all either. It should of been announced online like this year's IHeartradio Music Awards.

Doja was the highlight of both this and the VMA's, she really out here carrying these award shows with her performances En Vogue, Kelly, Brandy, and Alicia were all pretty nice in that order too
Rest of the show was a snooze and overrall for something that was postponed for this long, it fell super flat You'd think they would use the time to do better planning and book some more exciting acts but it was void of all of that
