"Dynamite" by BTS is the first song on both Today's Top Hits and New Music Friday. Their label is pulling out all the stops with this. With that pre-sale thing they did a bit ago, I'm sure the song is looking to compete with "WAP."

Aside from "Dynamite," "Lemonade" by Internet Money, "Tap In" by Saweetie, "Hawai" by Maluma, and "7 Summers" by Morgan Wallen have all been added to Today's Top Hits.

The video will undoubtedly have views reduced due to fraudulent views (and BTS stans as usual will cry YouTube is unfairly “taking” views) but nevertheless this could still obviously do record numbers.

BTS slaying YouTube is expected but we'll have to see Spotify performance first to before we can say if they can clinch that #1. If they hit #1 on Apple Music then #1 could be a near lock.

Love BTS and looking forward to seeing them on charts! I'd also say their fanbase is more "casual" than some others as Map of the Soul is still doing well on album chart.

This is also their first big single in English, which will make a difference in the US.

Deftones released the lead single/title track to their upcoming 9th studio album--first in 4 years--Ohms.



Hoping they can stream/sell well enough to finally get their first Hot 100 charter. The closest they came was Bubbling Under #5 in 2000 with "Change (In The House Of Flies)" _{In The House Of Flies LP Version}
The song is arguably the most accessible lead single they've ever put out, so maybe it'll hook in some more casual listeners. And I'm sure they have instant radio support on Active Rock.

I want Cardi to hold on to her #1 spot because WAP is an organic, monster smash. BTS can always try again for a #1 at another time when the charts are weaker.

I feel this way partly because if they went #1, it would be for one week only and they would drop really low in their second week because of how front-loaded they'd be on every metric. WAP put an end to those types of #1's this year, so I'd love to see it keep going. BTS can get themselves a cute top 3 debut, though.

Honestly it would be pretty cool if BTS got a number one with this song. It’s obviously gonna crash after the first week but I actually hope radio can latch onto it and give it some staying power.

It’s a good song. Surpassed my expectations.

They'd be lucky to get two weeks in the top twenty. Expect big first week numbers. Next week they will drop like a rock. Hell they might even start dropping hard by weeks end depending on how close they are to #1.

Prior to this rule update, you could bundle a physical single with a digital single and that digital song would count toward the Hot 100 on the week of purchase, irrespective of when the physical single shipped. Now, that digital song won’t count and the sale will be count toward the Hot 100 the week the physical single is shipped. So if the BTS sales are all shipped this week, they’ll count for this week.

So..Dynamite's instrumental version is #2 on iTunes
