Well both Jay Sean and the members of Far East movements are fully Asian in terms of ethnicity.

If I'm not mistaken BTS would be the first artist with the nationality of an Asian nation to hit #1 since 1963 when “Sukiyaki” by Kyu Sakamoto hit #1!
Psy should have gotten there with gangnam style but we all know what happened with that smh

This blog article looks back at the Grid Design used on the Billboard chart. The layout debuted in October of 1984. The layout was applied all of the various charts used in Billboard magazine including the Hot 100 and the Top 200 Albums. The chart layout lasted for a span of almost 17 years. In 2001, Billboard changed its look into the not so legible design. The grid look was a popular look for the magazine and this style has long since been a favorite for Billboard fans. I will be stepping through the debut and the many changes this look has brought Billboard magazine. The Grid Style also brought on additions and features that still exist today.

When I picture the Hot 100 in my head this is still what I think of. Simple, effective, legible, classic.

If anything, for an update, I wish they would take inspiration from BillBored's layouts on Twitter. Or they should just hire him because he does it better than they do.

But for Asian ethnicity, Bruno Mars counts i guess? cos he's half filipino
