If BTS hit no. 1, the last time Asian-origin artist to do it was Far East Movement, right? Or if they dont count (because of half-American root), then maybe Jay Sean? But he was half-British.

Well both Jay Sean and the members of Far East movements are fully Asian in terms of ethnicity. If I'm not mistaken BTS would be the first artist with the nationality of an Asian nation to hit #1 since 1963 when “Sukiyaki” by Kyu Sakamoto hit #1!Psy should have gotten there with gangnam style but we all know what happened with that smh

Can Circles f****ng die already?I think the reason that Post Malone is not release a new song/single yet is because of circles..it's still so high on hot 100 and radio is still playing it so he's afraid that circles will overshadow his upcoming new single...

Maluma may have a big Spanish crossover in his hands... It's gotten a lot of buzz due to it being related to his recent break-up, at least on my social media. Haven't seen it command the attention that Chantaje or Felices los 4 got, though, at least so far.

I wish Billboard would go back to this. So much easier to read... billboardchartrewind.wordpress.com/2018/09/24/the-grid-design/?fbclid=IwAR3okdTYL8eGQy6lI7Lqrs4uYZ8YYR4923eRrz3EYEP-z13v61SwTkRGWLIThe Billboard Chart Grid DesignToday I’ll be taking a look at one of the classic Billboard chart designs. This is hands down one of the best design and look of the chart. This blog article looks back at the Grid Design used on the Billboard chart. The layout debuted in October of 1984. The layout was applied all of the various charts used in Billboard magazine including the Hot 100 and the Top 200 Albums. The chart layout lasted for a span of almost 17 years. In 2001, Billboard changed its look into the not so legible design. The grid look was a popular look for the magazine and this style has long since been a favorite for Billboard fans. I will be stepping through the debut and the many changes this look has brought Billboard magazine. The Grid Style also brought on additions and features that still exist today.

When I picture the Hot 100 in my head this is still what I think of. Simple, effective, legible, classic. If anything, for an update, I wish they would take inspiration from BillBored's layouts on Twitter. Or they should just hire him because he does it better than they do.
