I have not listened to the entire album yet and still need to do that but I have listened to "I'm No Stranger To The Rain", "Country State of Mind", and "You Don't Seem To Miss Me". I LOVE his cover of "You Don't Seem To Miss Me". While Patty's original has long been one of my favorites from her I was pleasantly surprised by his cover. It is the song I was most excited and nervous to listen to but he did a great job with it and Runaway June sound fantastic in the George Jones harmonies part. Kinda wish he'd been able to get Patty to do that part instead like he got other artist to record their songs with him but it is still really good! Really looking forward to listening to the rest of the album!

I'm going to give this a spin tomorrow but I'm most excited for the Allison Moorer feature. I think they should compliment eachother quite nicely!

I went to walmart this morning and much to my shock they had already stocked this album and tim mcgraw’s as well. I have never bought any josh turner albums in the past(have several itunes singles though) but after previewing the album last night i knew i needed to get this one so i bought it! I was gonna get it off amazon but im happy i don’t need to do that now. He does such a great job with just about every cover on here! I wish he would send one of these songs to radio as i think there’s a few could possibly work for radio although i understand why it hasn’t happened. I guess its possible he wanted the full album out and maybe see if any of the songs get a huge reaction with? Time will tell. Great album with or without any actual singles.

Got to listen to this today and he knocked it out of the park! Loved everything here, but I think having Runaway June guest on "You Don't Seem To Miss Me" is my favorite part! They sound so good on there!
I was so happy to hear Randy on "Forever And Ever, Amen" I don't think it would've been right to not have him there given his obvious influence on Josh.
I wish they had been brave enough to send out a single from the album, but I guess I can understand why they didn't. I hope this can garner some attention.

Comes in at #14 on the country albums chart. I don't have the top 200 placing or any sales of the album.

Was this just a one-off before he gets back to regular studio albums, or was this one last project he wanted to get out before MCA drops him from their label? MCA tripped and fumbled on getting "Deep South" out, so I'm guessing there isn't much radio future for him. (This is not an insult to him. I love Josh and have all his albums.)
