The Urban AC/R&B chart is starting to remind me of the Country chart where songs will slowly climb, get a huge boost in spins when they're near the top, and then start bleeding spins once they secure the #1...

Roll on "Fallin"!! I wouldn't be mad at a "Spell My Name" single release but only if they replace the unknown singer with an actual known artist because it's giving reference track vibes... Like it was a demo that was sent out to labels to secure a proper feature and his vocals were just left on the track as a reference, but they weren't able to secure the feature in time before the album release (because this would've been during the peak of covid-19 last year). With the song talking about a younger man, this would be the perfect opportunity for Toni to collab with a younger, on-trend artist without it sounding forced. I can hear Ty Dolla Sign all over it. The guy on the track low key sounds like him anyways. Or even Blxst. Island/Toni have done the bare minimum this whole album rollout though so obviously this is all just wishful thinking ha.

Agree with you on Spell My Name! I just hope they try something (anything) else after GMO... Even if its original version of Spell My Name.

Purpose served, it can fall off now.
C'mon Toni, we are over SMN. Give us a new era.

vithor, thanks for tracking this through it's steady climb Wish it would've hung around longer at the top, but at least it got there!

Sure... Chris Brown needed to go back to #1. The core audience for this format supported R. Kelly until the evidence became insurmountable, so I'm not surprised.
