So, I guess both The Killers and Nas should manage to have top 10 debuts. Tim McGraw would do less than one quarter of his previous album, yikes!

I guess Tim had tour bundles with his previous album that aren't possible now?
Kinda refreshing not seeing a big touring act get a free pass to #1.

^Yes, it did have a tour bundle. It debuted at #2 behind Reputation's second week at #1.

Kinda refreshing not seeing a big touring act get a free pass to #1. As a side-product of this, I believe the Billboard 200 will become much more stable in the coming months. Without bundles it's basically impossible to debut at #1 and tank to #100 the week after. The rule should ensure that more albums remain stable on the top 10 which is a great change!

92k on her 5th week is absolutely huge! 42k pure sales would put it at 800k in just 5 weeks! Doing amazing, and hopefully picks up again during the Fall/holidays.

92k on her 5th week is absolutely huge! What about Pop Smoke getting 87k on his seventh week? I’m not trying to discredit Tay, both have done impressively. It’s just that Pop Smoke is less of a big name than Tay.

It’s just that Pop Smoke is less of a big name than Tay. That absolutely is impressive. Pop Smoke isn't as big a name, but rap/hip hop is dominating the scene right now and has been for a while and he did pass recently which has, as of late, caused particularly big resurgences for artists (Xxxtentacion, Juice World, Nipsey Hussle etc). Onviously not saying his death is the reason he is sustaining, I just think there are several factors at play here other than merely a name.

However, Taylor's is a folk/alternative album charting extremely high for a 5th week which is kinda unheard of, especially now that rap/hip-hop are dominating.

At this points it's given taylor, pop, juice all are making into Top 10 Nielsen total units sold and Taylor, Juice for billboard 200 Top 10. Pop smoke and Billie's 2019 album mostly likely contender for 10th spot, given that Drake is dropping. Pop have to fights it's way out into top 10, hope this album does, rather than last year album.

It’s just that Pop Smoke is less of a big name than Tay. In addition to what others have said, a big part of what makes Taylor's 5th week numbers so impressive is her longevity. Nearly all superstar musicians struggle to maintain such dominance this far into their careers. Tons of artists have one really big album, very very few have eight really big albums. Her whole career, people have been waiting for her to have a slump, and it still hasn't happened, which is truly remarkable. Also, Lover did 65k in its 5th week, so I think we can safely say Folklore is holding up better so far!

Imagine the folk inspired underperformer that is "Cardigan" is giving an album 5 weeks at num.1 LoL! Oh I know there's the other song Pulse is drooling over but that is the single being promoted.

Taylor Swift stretches her run at #1 on the HITS Top 50 to a fifth week, moving 89k units. The Republic superstar held serve largely because of a clever streaming campaign wherein she divided folklore into three six-song EPs/playlists.
Swift began rolling out the customized EPs on Friday, 98/21, with folklore: escapism chapter, followed by the sleepless nights chapter on 98/24 and the saltbox house chapter on 98/27. This marks the first time in her career that she’s spent five consecutive weeks at #1.
Labelmate Pop Smoke follows at #2 with the resilient Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon (Victor Victor/Republic). In its eight weeks on the chart, the album has yet to chart lower than #4.
Mass Appeal’s Nas notches the top debut with his first full-length album in eight years, King’s Disease, landing at #5 with 48k. The Killers enter at #8, as their sixth studio LP, Imploding the Mirage (Island), finishes the week with 35k.
blackbear’s everything means nothing (Alamo/Interscope) arrives at #14, one slot above Tim McGraw’s Here on Earth (Big Machine). Sony Latin’s Maluma (#33) and Streamcut/RCA’s Mulatto (#40) round out the top bows.
Streeting this week are new projects from Capitol’s Katy Perry, Warner’s Dua Lipa, Internet Money/10k Project’s Internet Money and Cash Money/Republic’s Lil Wayne.

Damn, first J Balvin and then Maluma. Bad Bunny is really blocking everybody from that number one spot on the Latin Albums chart.

And truth be told she’s messing with his reign. His album would be #1 had it not been for merch bundles that don’t even require people who buy clothes to redeem the albums tacked on, and which will no longer count in two months.
