I think it is understandable some people may not have heard of or know of Pop Smoke, I mean didn't he only have two mixtapes (2019) prior to his only and first album that was posthumously released this year? Did he have any legitimate hits before his death? Genuinely curious.
As for Taylor, hopefully it holds with Billboard and she gets week 5. That's more than enough to be happy for.

Pop Smoke obviously has a double album out there for streaming purposes, all rappers do, but still he also has three big songs on it.

Holy s**t does Pop Smoke's album really have 40 tracks? . I don't think I have ever seen that big of an album! Certainly, in part, explains his consistently high SPS figures. lol Is that the norm for rappers? I honestly don't know as I only follow the career of a select few rappers.

Same! Glad he isn’t messing with Taylor’s reign. RIP though. Why put ignorance on proud display? And truth be told she’s messing with his reign. His album would be #1 had it not been for merch bundles that don’t even require people who buy clothes to redeem the albums tacked on, and which will no longer count in two months. Sorry I didn’t mean to come off as insensitive. I’m happy to see him selling well, and I know it will help his family and estate. I just meant he had his reign in July and I’m glad Taylor got her month too.

Regarding albums this big. It is not the norm but it is becoming popular right now. It all began when Lil Uzi Vert released a Deluxe edition with 14 tracks (a whole new album) second week. The album had an amazing 2nd week, but it didn't really help the longevity of the album. There are only a few cases when releasing deluxe like this helped the album (Lil Baby / Pop Smoke). In most cases it only gives the album more hype for 1/2 more weeks and then back to normal. Having 2 hits out of 15 songs and 2 hits out of 30 songs is still around the same. Album tracks don't generate too much traction outside of first few weeks. But like the Hot 100 artists/labels seem to care about the short term #1, doesn't matter if the album is dead or not after 5 months.
I personally don't mind these deluxe editions, what Billboard (even RIAA) needs to address is 15 track album needing the same amount of streams as 30 track album in order to count as an album unit.
