Don't know why some people are predicting BL to be above LNCL. The gap is still huge and the VMAs didn't have much impact This is when you know streaming has way too much weight on the Hot 100. LNCL is not a bigger hit than BL this week. I can't go anywhere without hearing BL, while barely hearing LNCL (in fact, I don't think I've heard it once this week). If LNCL moves up in its 3rd week, that might be the most impressive chart feat this year, especially considering how little promo it has this week. Well LNCL is doing double the streams of the radio’s biggest hit

Laugh now cry later being strong 3 weeks without some kind of a TikTok challenge is impressive. What was the last song to do that?

off-topic, but one of the greatest chart moments this year has got to be the time that Lil Baby of all people released a legitimately amazing conscious rap song, and it ended overperforming all the predictions and debuted in the top 3.

Rockstar was huge on TikTok. Oh? I didn't know that. I was going to say WAP, but then I realized that it's also huge on TikTok. Other songs that eventually got to the top 10 didn't debut there or even in the top 20 and most, if not all of them took off on TikTok. LNCL might be the first one this year because even Toosie Slide took off on TikTok.

I mean... naturally any big song will be huge on Tik Tok. Rockstar was not a direct success due to it, it was big on it's own and naturally was used more as it became more popular. Same for WAP too.

Yeah, by design TikTok users are chasing clout and hit videos, so they will naturally latch on to the biggest hits every week.

No it wasn't. Rockstar latched on pretty quickly on TikTok before it even hit the top 10. WAP was a big hit on it's own, I agree.

Can someone explain the upcoming bundle rule that’s about to be in affect? Cause I’ve heard u can still bundle, it just has to be in the warehouse and ready to send? Regarding bundling merchandise with an album. (clothes and other stuff) So a hoodie as an example. On the website you will only have a hoodie priced 35$. When you add it to you cart, you can select if you want to add an album purchase alongside the hoodie, minimum price is 3.49$. If you do, on the reciept you will have this:
hoodie 35$ album 3.49$ --------------
Total 38.49$
Edit: About the last line. Even if you have on the store. Hoodie+album for only 40$ IT WILL NOT COUNT. You will need to offer the customer an option to choose weather he wants an album or not. A single checkbox
Regarding bundling digital album/single with a physical album/single.
This is about what you said, it will only count when the physical album/single is shipped.

ROCKSTAR debuted top 10.
Every popular song is used a lot on TikTok. A song being popular on TikTok doesn't mean it got popular because of TikTok.

Travis Scott is gonna bundle his next album in happy meals 😂 I thought that was a joke until I checked Twitter, that’s a weird collaboration. I mean he did already bundle albums with toys for his Fortnite event so I guess it isn’t that much of a stretch

Blinding Lights, Before You Go, I Hope, Break My Heart... act the fool girl. don't pretend that tiktok is everything None of the songs you mentioned debuted STRONG and remained that way for 3 straight weeks without taking off on TikTok, which is what drakefanovo was referring to. I know you can't help but click on the quote button whenever you see my posts, but you could always read first before jumping the gun. Blinding Lights debuted at #11 after it's first week, dropped to #52 in it's second week and didn't reach the top 10 until it's 12th week when it reached #10. Before You Go, I Hope and Break My Heart all didn't have strong debuts and took months to reach their peak positions. I mean... naturally any big song will be huge on Tik Tok. Rockstar was not a direct success due to it, it was big on it's own and naturally was used more as it became more popular. Same for WAP too. While I agree that ROCKSTAR and WAP didn't debut as strong as they did and remain as stable as they did due to them taking off on TikTok (I feel the same way about Toosie Slide as well), all three songs were already taking off on TikTok merely days after being released. I agree that's partly due to your point about folks who use TikTok being drawn to big songs, but WAP is #1 on the TikTok viral chart or something. It definitely didn't NEED that to be the monster hit that it is, but based on drakefanovo's criteria, I can't include it or ROCKSTAR. I would do the same thing with 7 Summers as well. I don't use TikTok so I wouldn't know, but I haven't heard any talk of Laugh Now Cry Later gaining any traction on there, which is why I mentioned it as the only example that came to my mind of not taking off on that service in it's first 3 weeks while remaining strong on the charts (sorry for the long post).
