I don’t really know why but this makes me think of rain lmao, it’s a cool song, just didn’t capture my interest as much as other songs

Some reactions All reveals thus far have been discoveries. Glad to see half of my bottom 10 gone :) - Incredible is one of two songs that I found annoying —sorry not my cup of tea. -Slowly, Slip and Aidy’s were in my 30-34 zone of forgettable background music. Don’t dislike them, and I’m sure I could use them to concentrate at work, but I’d also be afraid of falling asleep -Sincere was my #29 and in a zone of songs that I liked but were a bit too repetitive/ monotonous to me. My 21-25 zone had songs I liked send found interesting, and a bit hard to rank. They all left :( -The First Rebirth (25) is intense shit, and not necessarily the type of electronic stuff I love, but it was solid, adventurous, dynamic. -Love Shy (24) seemed like late 90s euro dance stuff. Close to being generic, but fun anyway and much more melodic than other stuff I ranked lower. -Miss you (23) had a delicate hypnotic instrumental that captivated me and made me pay attention to the melody and changes in instrumental. Very interesting discovery that starts the point of songs I’ve added to my files. -I never dream (22): I really liked the intricate instrumental and melody underneath the slightly repetitive How I Feeeel - No UFOs (21): this has the type of late 80s sound I like. Had the melody been a bit stronger I would’ve ranked it top 15. I added some extra points to The Garden (19) for the Brazilian influences, which made it unique. Getting me down (18) was just fun to me and with a great use of the sample. Musically, other songs were just more interesting to me. A great example is Strings of Life (10), which was a great discovery to me. I loved the instrumental, beat, eclectic ness. That’s the type of electronic music I dig :)

the minimal, ambient nature of Miss You was very cool, that and Slip are out too soon

An electro/reggae group remixed by a shoegaze band showing the world the potential of collage-style sampling. I was planning on using this song in this setting before Late 80s Lost Hits was held, so it's funny how it finished in the exact same position, but among a list with fewer songs. 22

Another song that tumbled to a ridiculous and undeserved degree over the course of the rankdown. Well, if you did love the song, you can hear more of this scenic ambient house style on its parent album, The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld, and also The KLF's album Chill Out. 21

See I like the vibe of this, but like her voice in this kinda made me feel a bit uncomfortable so that’s why I ranked it last.

I wish I had ranked "Little Fluffy Clouds" a bit higher, but the competition was stiff. So many good songs here.

"Parisian Goldfish" is fantastic, and I love the song title itself. LMFAO at that video though, I had never seen it and had no clue Eric from Tim & Eric directed it, but I can definitely tell he did after watching it.
