hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=323038&title=NEW-RELEASES%253A-NOW-WITH-EXTRA-CAVEATS%2521Saturday, September 5, 2020 NEW RELEASES: NOW WITH EXTRA CAVEATS!Data is only now starting to trickle in as this holiday weekend kicks into gear, but we have the following forecasts for the week's top debuts. Please pair these initial numbers with a larger-than-usual grain of salt. The Rolling Stones title listed below, incidentally, is a new deluxe edition of 1973's Goat's Head Soup. 6ix9ine (6ix9ine/Create Music Group) 150k Big Sean (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) 125k The Rolling Stones (Polydor) 20k 6ix9ine's debut studio set, Dummy Boy, was embroiled in a notorious Billboard chart kerfuffle that saw the Bible place it at #2 with 66k. We further note that Big Sean has four of the Top 10 tracks at Apple Music; his cut "Lithuania" f/Travis Scott is Top 15 at Spotify. Sean's 2017 set, I Decided, bowed at #1 with 151k in total activity. Goat's Head Soup was a worldwide #1 nearly half a century ago, features the #1 single "Angie."

69's projection is def a bit strange. He has 1 song top 100 on Spotify & Apple Music, that means like over 100k of that number has to be merch bundles.
I don't even think Weeknd sold that many merch bundles with that ridiculous scheme of selling 100+ different merch bundles first week. I also don't know who would be paying $50 to wear a 6ix9ine hoodie/tshirt at this point, but okay.

Sksksksksks at 69(please don't turn this into 300 pages). That's not bad for Sean, he has his base now. So maybe an earlier single would've boosted him up?

I'm anxious to see how 6ix9ine is going to pull that number.

6ix9ine will be #1 but without any supporting hits, won't stay there

6ix9ine outselling Big Sean shows how much we have fallen as a nation.

Idk how you guys immediately thought 6ix9ine would be below Big Sean with 6's album having a few top 10 hits, one #1. Big Sean will hold better though, and is showing much better on streaming right off the bat.

Bc some of the points and bundles carry over to the first week for the album. Those hits provide a lot of points.

He's had merch bundles available on his site since Gooba came out in early May, that's 4 months of bundling.

^Yeah. Also, the album should probably have the smallest proportion of streaming equivalent albums from a recent rap album with more than 100k SPS.

his tracklist sounds like a Neanderthal playing with a stick GOOBA NADA OOMPA LALA TUTU URGH
I saw this man in concert once, as part of a line up with SZA and Juice Wrld and others, and he deadass just sang along over vocal track playing in the background.

Guys, no one else probably realized this or are capable of thinking it on their own but sixnine won't stay at #1 because he doesn't have any hits. LOL

Can Big Sean dethrone Taylor Swift for #1 on this week’s HITS Top 50? Or does Team Republic have something in their back pocket to secure her a seventh consecutive week at #1? The holiday weekend is delaying some reporting so please expect a greater than usual margin of error. Big Sean (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) 100-110k total activity, 25-30k albums 6ix9ine (6ix9ine/Create) 40-50k, 11-15k The Rolling Stones (Polydor) 20k hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=323038&title=NEW-RELEASES%253A-NOW-WITH-EXTRA-CAVEATS%2521-%2528UPDATE%2529so what was with their 150k number..? lol

Tay’s team throwing together some bundles as we speak. Too close not to fight for it.
