Hey I'm just going to do different random reviews. I'll rank stuff do top 10 lists and just review songs on their own if I feel like they need their own review. I dont really have a schedule I'll just post whenever I feel like it. I will review stuff that interests me, but I will also take requests.

Maroon 5: Nobody's Love
Before I heard the song I was excited for it and I knew it was going to be good, but at the same time I was a little worried cause Girls Like You is still in the great tier but far from their best, but Memories is only in the good tier which is bad for Maroon 5 standards.
But I was pleasantly surprised here. This is their best song since Locked Away with Rock City from 2015, which the previous holder of that title was Cold with Future.
The production at the beginning has a good melody and then Adam gives one of his best vocal performances to date reminding me of songs like Unkiss Me and Sad. Sure, it isn't Animals level but I dont think he will ever top Animals vocally.
Then we get to the pre chorus. So many forced rhymes but good melody. But in my opinion melody always matters more than lyrics, so it's all good.
Then the first chorus. Here Maroon 5 uses one of my favorite cliches in pop music of the past five years so that the first chorus isnt a full chorus. It doesn't have all the great power that the other choruses have which makes the second chorus really amazing.
And then the bridge is good. Nothing really to say about it.
But then the final chorus. Um yeah this is absolutely exceptional. His vocal adlibs are amazing. And that guitar chord in that plays twice throughout it is the best part of that third chorus.
One of the things that really sold this for me is that beat drop at the beginning of the second verse. That is my absolute favorite cliche in pop music of the past five years, but this one is one of the best of that cliche to date. It brings this crazy feeling through the song that it definitely needed.
But then the best part of this song. The last two seconds. Yeah this is exceptional. The way Adam belts out "nobody love" and the way it fades out is amazing.
5/5 great tier

Post Malone: Wow
I love this song. How much do I love this song? A lot. So much in fact that that is #49 on my top 100 favorite songs of all time list. I am a huge fan of Post Malone and this is my third favorite song by him. But it was my favorite song by him before Hollywood's Bleeding (the song, not the album) and Take What You Want with Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott came out, which are my second favorite and favorite songs by Post Malone respectively.
This is a very stupid song and Post plays off that really well. He has the personality and charisma to pull off a song like this. Also to make a stupid song work it has to be really catchy, and wow definitely is catchy. The first verse and the chorus are catchy for sure, but the second verse outshines the rest of the song by far.
The second verse is split into four sections and each section is catchier than the next which if it was the other way around it wouldn't have worked as well. Because each section is catchier than the next it makes the song itself a lot more catchy.
The first section of the second verse is just the same melody as most of the first verse. Its catchy but nothing too special.
But the the second section is so catchy. The melody goes up midway through which just makes it stick in your brain.
Then the third section of the second verse is very catchy but also has good lyrics. Another section that also has good lyrics is the last section of the first verse (just a side note there).
Then the last section of the second verse is literally the best part of the whole song. Seriously can Post Malone start rapping more. He's a singer but he's better at rapping than like 75% of rappers out there.
Overall Post Malone has always been awesome at making stupid pop songs and this just proves it.
Top 100 of all time tier (6/5) Position on top 100 list: 49

Walk The Moon: One Foot Well. This song sure does exist doesn't it. I literally forgot this song existed. It's still has a good sound to it but there's just not a lot to this song. Therefore not a lot that I have to say about it. The melody in the post chorus is pretty catchy but that's about all there is to this song really. Good tier (4/5) Tags Fire

February 2014 vs May 2017 For the next five days I will be doing a battle between the songs that entered the top 10 in February 2014, vs the songs that entered the top 10 in May 2017. The month with the most points wins. Pompeii vs Dna Team vs Stay Talk Dirty vs Despacito Drunk In Love vs It Ain't Me Happy vs I'm The One If you want you can make predictions on what ones you think I'm gonna choose. Pompeii vs Dna Bastille: Pompeii Well this song sure does exist doesn't it. Decent tier (3/5) Kendrick Lamar: Dna It's so obvious which one is gonna win here. This song is incredible. The very beginning hooks you in immediately. The way he repeats "I got" is just so catchy. And then he just spits out bars and it is awesome. And then the way he samples that idiot from Fox News is amazing and Kendrick shows no mercy and gives him exactly what he deserves. And then Kendrick just goes all out. He gives his best delivery to date, and has some amazing lyrics. And then the last two seconds are absolutely amazing. Top 100 of all time tier (6/5) Position on top 100 list: 20 Winner: Dna Score: 0-1 Tags @nonameneeded Fire

Team vs Stay Lorde: Team Well this is so much better than Roylas. The beginning is definitely the best part. Good tier (4/5) Zedd, Alessia Cara: Stay 🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛🕛 Good tier (4/5) Winner: Team Score: 1-1 Tags @nonameneeded Fire

Talk Dirty vs Despacito Jason Derulo, 2 Chainz: Talk Dirty This song is such a guilty pleasure. It's way too catchy. Also Jason's vocals on here are really really good. To be fair though I wouldn't expect anything less than amazing for Jason vocally. Good tier (4/5) Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee: Despacito This song is just so fun and catchy and Luis Fonso has an amazing voice. There's not really a deeper analysis here. Great tier (5/5) Winner: Despacito Score: 1-2 Tags @nonameneeded Fire

Drunk In Love vs It Ain't Me Beyonce, Jay-Z: Drunk In Love The queen has arrived. Jay-Z's verse is really good too. Good tier: (4/5) Kygo, Selena Gomez: It Ain't Me The way this song starts is incredible. The melody is so good. Especially the part when she sings "No I don't want to know" and the rest of that section has a really good melody. Then that chorus. That chorus is exceptional. It just goes for it. But the best part about it are the three chords when she sings "when you're drunk and all alone". Then the post chorus. Well it sure does exist dosent it. It exists just as much as quoting Sean Fay Wolfe is fun. Without that post chorus this is exceptional. With it it's still really good but not exceptional. PS: Selena Gomez is still one of the worst singers I have ever come across. Great tier: (5/5) Winner: It Ain't Me Score: 1-3 Literally never thought I'd see the day when Selena would beat Bey. Like how in the world does one of my least favorite artists beat one of my favorite artists. That's crazy. Tags @nonameneeded Fire

Happy vs I'm The One Pharrell Williams: Happy This song just exists. It's a little bit catchy. Decent tier (3/5) DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne: I'm the one This is a bop. The chorus is super catchy and while Lil Wayne sounds terrible like he always does at least his lyrics are really catchy and his verse is the best out of the three. All three of them are good though. Great tier (5/5) Winner: I'm the one Score: 1-4 Winner May 2017 Tell me if you would like to see more of these. I'll try better to release reviews every day and not get behind like I did this time around. If you want to request two months make sure the same amount of songs entered the top ten for both months or else it dosen't work. (You can see what songs entered the top ten on wikipedia if you need.) I will be doing your requests next. I will try to release more frequently. Tags @nonameneeded Fire

Banners: Someone To You By looking at the title and artist I didnt think I had ever heard this but I actually have heard this song before on probably the radio. That's my best guess there. The verses are worthless. Sorry. But that chorus is amazing. Yeah there is no words for it other than its exceptional. Especially that fourth chord. That chord fits in the song so well that it bumped the song up a whole tier. Then the bridge. It's good but it definitely could've been better. Great tier (5/5) Tags Fire

Juice Wrld, Halsey: Lifes A Mess
Ok. There's not really a lot to say about this.
Juice Wrld and Halsey both sing really well on here. And while the verses are kind of worthless the chorus is really good.
Good tier (4/5)

Ok I'll take it. I'd definitely agree that the chorus is the best part.
If you can squeeze the time, could you rank Hollywood's Bleeding too?

Quick note before I start I do not believe in honorable mentions. Critics use honorable mentions to get the easy way out of making painful cuts. And trust me on this list there were some PAINFUL cuts. But this is a top 100 list not top 120 or 125. So fyi if you're gonna continue to follow me just note that I will never do honorable mentions and that is why. Tags @nonameneeded Fire

Guidelines A hit song is a song that hit the top ten of the billboard hot 100. This means songs like mine and friends are not eligible. However this also means that songs like diplomatic immunity, take what you want, and let it fly are eligible. A song from the 2010s is a song that was released sometime between 1/1/10-12/31/19. Therefore songs like hey soul sister, break your heart, and nothing on you are not eligible. But that also means songs like dont start now and blinding lights are eligible. Does that make sense? The fun starts tomorrow. This is my biggest project yet and I'm so exicted. Tags @nonameneeded Fire
