Unreleased track recorded in 1993 during the Music Box sessions which will be included on The Rarities, due out October 2. Mariah wrote it with Walter Afanasieff.

Just based on the title, I'm picturing it being a mushy sapfest like most of that album. But even those songs had amazing vocals, so I'm perched to hear those.

A schmaltzy ballad but I'm here for it!

I was surprised by the snippet of this. I was expecting an "All I've Ever Wanted" tea, oozing with that Mimi+Wally trademark white magic, but it's a lot more upbeat with a slight bounce. It's giving me a bit of "All Around The Word" by Lisa Stansfield tbh.

I'm looking forward to this the most based on the snippets. I agree with the Lisa Stansfield comparison.. sounds like the music she was doing in the early 90s.

The lyrics are very pedestrian for Mariah (sounds like filler lyrics for a demo that would usually be replaced before releasing it to the public), but I love the overall sound of it. Kind of reminds me of the material she wrote/produced for Trey Lorenz's album. It gives me major nostalgia for the R&B from that period.. fun to hear something "new" from that time.

This is a nice suprise. I like this more than quite a bit of what made it onto MB. Her vocal sounds a tad bit off, like she was stuffed up, but she still sounds great.

Love the sound, it gives me Luther teas. This should've been on Music Box instead of one of the ballads to pick up the pace some.

I like this one. It fits the early to mid 90s R&B climate. I hear a little 90s contemporary gospel in it as well.

I think this is my favorite of the previously unreleased tracks now.

I absolutely LOVE this. This would’ve easily been a #1 hit if he was released! It would’ve been cute coming after “Dreamlover”.

This is quite a jam and is one of my top five favorites on The Rarities. Mariah sounds a little congested but still sounds great nonetheless.
At first I wasn't sure if it should have been added to Music Box as it's such a tight album, but now I think the addition of this song to Music Box would've made it even stronger.
