This is a great EP. Not a bad track at all, and of course Mickey's voice is wonderful. My one complaint is that the three songs we haven't heard are all either just three minutes or under three minutes, although I can see why that was done in the era of streaming. That falsetto at the end of the chorus of "Bridges," whew!!!
I can't pick a favorite and I hope we can eventually get a full-length disc from her!

Heaven Down Here has grown on me
Bridges reminds me of P!nk, I love it
What Are You Gonna Tell Her? remains astonishing, and no matter what the response is after the ACMs it won't be enough
Rosé feels a bit out of place, but that's probably a good thing. Nice to break up the heavy content.
Salt is fun and pretty much hits the bullseye on my weakness for female country artists
Black Like Me like WAYGTH? is still fantastic
Much like the Mickey Guyton EP it is stunning and I really want a full album.

I have only listened to the 3 singles and "Bridges" so far so I still need to listen to "Rosé" and "Salt" but I love everything I've heard so far! "Bridges" is amazing!

Very solid EP, though the 3 songs that were released as singles previously are better than the 3 new ones imo, so I guess that is a bit of a letdown just because the best had already been heard. Of the new ones, "Rosé" is a fun little jam but something about the song just feels a bit off in the melody and how she sings it, like it doesn't really 'fit' her for me. Not bad though. "Bridges" and "Salt" are both wonderful tho. The former builds on the deeper lyrical message vibe of the 3 prior singles, and the latter has an interesting hook and I dig the production.
So for me, I'd rank them like this: 1. What Are You Gonna Tell Her? 2. Black Like Me 3. Heaven Down Here 4. Bridges 5. Salt 6. Rosé
I really want a full album from her so badly. I hope that they'll let her put one out in 2021.

Bought this last night. At first I thought it was an album, because I checked Wikipedia first, and was a little disappointed it was only an EP. Love her voice, the songs are great, and she’s not afraid to infuse progressive themes in her music (which makes her even more of a unicorn in country). I hope she has success, but I have a feeling country radio will give her the Musgraves treatment. It took Kacey winning Grammy’s all-genre Album of the Year for them to pay her dust at all—and even that was peanuts, they still won’t play her on radio. I’m not sure the music here is good enough to ever manage something similar to that, so it’s probably going to be a hard road for her in country.

I love the EP. I think the new songs are good enough to stand their ground against the known ones. Rosé is so catchy and feel free ♥ Maybe Bridges gets a bit too 'choir-y' but it's still a good song. I do agree that we need a full album and if the support for WAYGTH keeps staying there, we might get one!
