I'm definitely excited for new material from her. Excited to see what direction she goes in this era.

I LOVE the last two albums but I hope she takes her time with this upcoming era. Promo for "thank u, next" basically stopped on release date, for goodness sake. I realize both albums dealt with overcoming some pain and sadness in her life and I hope with her new beau around, she is in a better head space.
Let's go, Ari!

"Yours Truly" is so underappreciated, especially among newer fans. Sure, it's not as mature and personal as her later work, but for a debut album from someone who was technically still required to maintain a relatively family-friendly image, it is really strong. I mean, it's enough of a testament that Ariana herself is still proud of so many of its tracks.
For me, it's definitely one of my top favorite Ariana albums (though I love them all, really). I love the 90s R&B influences alongside the vintage doo-wop sound present throughout the record, Ariana sounds fantastic and vibrant (and it just shows how much R&B is her lane), and the highlights are some of my personal favorite songs of her career.
Always worth revisiting "Honeymoon Avenue", "Right There", "Tattooed Heart", "You'll Never Know", "The Way", and "Almost Is Never Enough". And I will defend "Popular Song" as a incredibly fun tribute to Wicked nicely twisting the meaning of the original song (not to mention MIKA and Ariana work extremely well together ❤)

If I had to rank her albums now:
1. Dangerous Woman 2. Thank U, Next 3. Sweetener 4. My Everything 5. Yours Truly
But saying that, Yours Truly isn’t a bad album at all. Ariana doesn’t have any bad albums imo.

for me,
1. Sweetener 2. Thank U, Next 3. Dangerous Woman 4. Yours Truly 5. My Everything
but this entire Top 3 is immaculate, and Yours Truly is a phenomenal debut album. My Everything has the hits I guess, lol. It also has her WORST song 🍵

Also anyone feel like Greedy, Leave Me Lonely, Faith (from Sing! Soundtrack), Step On Up, Focus, I Don't Care, and Jason's Song feel like they all belong on this jazzy pop album? Like i feel like that's what Ariana was going for before she came up with the DW image. I'd like to hear this jazzy pop album too.

Look at that - some of my favorite tracks off "Dangerous Woman". 😍 I would definitely love to hear this jazzy pop album (with some hint of Broadway influences, which Ariana utterly excels at). Maybe one day, who knows?

“Jason’s Song” is the first song I saw her perform where I believed what she was singing. I ran out and downloaded it.
