"Jason's Song" is one of her most underrated songs and live performances ever! That's one of the first times I saw her that I knew she was the real deal as a live performer.
She suits the jazzy Broadway-inspired style so much! And I love the song's lyrics as well, addressing her short-term feud with Scooter Braun and her frustrations with lack of creative control over her work.
Her success is unbelievable. Just when people thought she would underperform, she proves them wrong by smashing so hard. People are too quick to assume radio is playing her songs thanks to payola but her streaming numbers show people love listening to Ariana Grande. I love her and will always have soft spot for her.
Her wedding post surpassed 24 million likes, becoming the most-liked post by a woman ever & 3rd most-liked post overall.
EDIT: she's passed XXXTentacion now, officially making it the most-liked photo of a person in Instagram HISTORY. the second wedding post is also #10 & third one is #15. Her engagement announcement post is #18.
PLANET HER 1. WOMAN 2. NAKED 3. PAYDAY (FT. YOUNG THUG) 4. GET INTO IT (YUH) 5. NEED TO KNOW 6. I DON'T DO DRUGS (FT. ARIANA GRANDE) 7. LOVE TO DREAM 8. YOU RIGHT (WITH THE WEEKND) 9. BEEN LIKE THIS 10. OPTIONS (FT. JID) 11. AIN'T s**t 12. IMAGINE 13. ALONE 14. KISS ME MORE (FT. SZA)
SO, Ari and Doja were both part of the After Hours era with the remixes, Abel and Ari are on PLANET HER, and Abel and Doja were on Ari's positions. I just love them.

There were rumours The Neptunes have apparently worked on Doja and Ariana's collaboration on "Planet Her". Can anyone confirm this? I loved most of Pharrell's contributions on "sweetener", and his production style would fit Doja like a glove.
thank you, next and Dangerous Woman dominating her spotify streams is about what I would have expected, but I'm shocked "Into You" is so high considering how it underperformed. I'm surprised "Bad Idea" wasn't higher too. That's a huge cult hit with the g*ys.
^ Interesting! I think the number for "motive" is wrong. Surprised that "Break Free" has been streamed more than "Problem."
Every song from 2013-2014 having a trumpet didn’t age well.
Did you mean saxophone? Because the instrument in the main hook of "Problem" certainly isn't a trumpet lol. Trumpets also weren't a huge trend in the early 2010s outside of that Jason Derulo song that clearly was a MIDI track and Macklemore, but saxophones were everywhere.

Going a bit off-topic here, but it's such a shame we didn't get any live performances for the "positions" album. The AMAs last year would have been perfect for a big vocal moment with "pov" (or at least a "positions"/"34+35" medley). Also, given the lowkey nature of the project, she really could have done a stripped-back livestream concert like Justin Bieber did for his "Journals" album back in February. Live instruments, casual setting, potential appearances from Abel, Doja, and Ty, no big demands in terms of choreography so her voice can shine - what a missed opportunity!😔
I know she was probably busy with her engagement and wedding plans, but given how proud she was of the project upon announcement, I thought she would want to promote it more, especially since the pandemic allows her to do at-home performances (think of Mariah this last year).

Insert eye roll. Let’s say “horn heavy”.
Not sure what this attitude is about. I was being friendly and continuing the conversation.
