This is good but now that I've heard " Forever After All" I'm wishing that one would've been released instead. Oh well it's still a possibility because dude's on fire right now.

How many singles deep could they go here? I would guess the next song will be from the deluxe release. It will likely be upbeat, I’d prefer Cold As You. Then probably Forever After All to finish the album at 7 singles. It would be a shame not to release 1, 2 Many, but 8 singles from a single album doesn’t seem likely.

hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=323759&title=NEW-RELEASE-ACTIONSaturday, October 24, 2020 NEW RELEASE ACTION
Luke Combs’ What You See Ain’t Always What You Get (River House/Columbia Nashville) is the early favorite for the #1 spot on next week’s HITS Top 50. The deluxe version of his 2019 album benefits from exceptionally strong streams, which could make up as much as 75% of its weekly total. As for singles, Ariana Grande's "positions" (Republic) debuted atop Spotify's U.S. and Global charts, while Combs' "Forever After All" leads on Apple Music's charts. Both tracks are approaching 7m in streams after day one. As Lenny Beer likes to say, that's biiiiig. Luke Combs (River House/Columbia Nashville) 85-100k total activity, 20-25k albumsBruce Springsteen (Columbia) 60-70k, 55-65k Ty Dolla $ign (Atlantic) 35-45k, 1-3k

For a country artist to be posting streaming numbers equivalent to the likes of Ariana Grande, one of the biggest pop stars in the world, is exceptional and particularly significant. It goes to show just how massive Luke Combs is. Jesus Christ, it's flabbergasting. He's gonna be remembered as one of the legends by the next generations.

I know this is the current single but with how well "Forever After All" is doing sales and streaming and seeing many posting the song on Facebook as it is on my newsfeed, I wouldn't be surprised if this is released as a radio single while "Better Together" is climbing towards the top. If Morgan Wallen can do this, so can Luke Combs with 2 singles as "Forever After All" is screaming for a radio release and ASAP as it is #1 iTunes All Genre right now!!!!

I think they’ll follow that pattern with “Forever After All” and release it following an upbeat single. A later release will allow it to have a second wave as well. Luke has the ability to not have to strike when the iron is hot for one song. He can always go back and heat it up later.

If Morgan Wallen can do this, so can Luke Combs with 2 singles as "Forever After All" is screaming for a radio release and ASAP as it is #1 iTunes All Genre right now!!!! I was thinking the same thing and while I think Luke can do it as well right now, labels have to be careful because there are so many current single spins to go around these days -- stations have to allocate enough spins to gold titles and recent recurrents for familiarity sake and there's an average of 15 minutes of commercials per hour on most mainstream country stations, owned by a corporate company (iHeart, Cumulus, CBS, Townsquare, Entercom). If this becomes a regular trend it can help contribute to the downfall of other singles and less variety at country radio. I don't think that will happen, since Morgan's situation is so rare, but it's a reason labels don't release two singles at a time, usually, along with more money and resources spent promoting two singles. This week, we're seeing what happens with so many high-profile singles released or debuting at the same time and how that impacts other songs on the chart. Dierks debuted in the top 30. Luke Bryan has a new single skyrocketing in the top 40; a number one push from Jameson Rodgers and not to mention new singles from Combs and Hunt; it's impacting the non-movement from other songs on the chart and even spin losses. It's an interesting topic since I'd expect streams and high song debuts from country artists on Apple, iTunes and the Hot 100 to continue down the line.

Wow, "Forever After All" is one of the best Luke Combs songs I’ve heard. That NEEDS to be pushed... it blows this song out of the water for sure.

I am amazed that the audio video for "Forever After All" is now over 4 mil views and this is just in 8 days on YouTube!!!! It is still #1 on iTunes All Genre and widened its lead over Ariana Grande with "positions". It is clear this needs to be the next single and PRONTO after "Better Together" is done at radio. Still think they could release it as it closes in on top 10 but again sabre14 knows more of how the radio atmosphere works and works best. This song is clearly connecting with folks and it is a no brainer to go #1 once released.

"Forever After All" debuts at #2 on Billboard Hot 100!!! #1 on Hot Country Songs!!!! www.billboard.com/articles/business/chart-beat/9477152/luke-combs-forever-after-all-hot-country-songs-number-one/Luke Combs' 'Forever After All,' New at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs & No. 2 on Hot 100: 'Doesn't Happen Without My Wife'
The song makes the highest-ever start for a country male artist on the Hot 100. Luke Combs' "Forever After All" blasts in atop Billboard's airplay-, streaming- and sales-based Hot Country Songs chart dated Nov. 7. The song, released on River House/Columbia Nashville, is just the sixth to have arrived at the summit since the chart began as an all-encompassing genre survey in 1958. It's the second this year, after Morgan Wallen's "7 Summers" arrived atop the Aug. 29 list. "Forever" concurrently blasts onto the all-genre, multi-metric Billboard Hot 100 at No. 2, marking the highest debut ever for a song that has also appeared on Hot Country Songs by a solo male. It surpasses the No. 5 entrance of "Lost in You" by Garth Brooks' alter ego Chris Gaines in September 1999. Combs wrote his new leader with Drew Parker and Robert Williford. "'Forever After All' doesn't happen without my wife, Nicole," Combs tells Billboard. "This song is the next chapter in our story, but it's awesome to see so many people are able to connect in the same way I feel about her in their own lives. And, it will always mean a lot to us because it's the first song I wrote in our home together, but even more so now with the reaction from the fans." Combs adds of the song, which he first previewed on TikTok in late August, "I had been holding this song back for about two years, so I was really itching to get it out, but it was well worth the wait for me and I hope it was for the fans, too. I think this will be one we will enjoy for a long, long time." "Forever" awards Combs his third Hot Country Songs leader and first No. 1 debut. It follows "Beautiful Crazy," which reigned for 11 weeks beginning in March 2019, and "When It Rains It Pours," which led for two frames starting in November 2017. "Forever" is among the new tracks included on the deluxe version of Combs' second LP, What You See Is What You Get, which was reissued Oct. 23 (dubbed What You See Ain't Always What You Get in its new 23-track deluxe form). "Forever" banked 29.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending Oct. 29, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, and rockets in atop Country Streaming Songs, marking Combs' third No. 1. It flies in at No. 2 on the all-genre Streaming Songs survey, where it's his highest-charting hit. The song sold 52,000 downloads in the same frame and bounds in atop Country Digital Song Sales, marking Combs' sixth No. 1. It also bows atop the all-genre Digital Song Sales tally as his first leader. On Country Airplay, "Forever" starts at No. 56 with 762,000 audience impressions in the week ending Nov. 1. (Current promoted single "Better Together" bumps 21-17, up 29% to 11.3 million impressions.) What You See Is What You Get holds atop the Top Country Albums chart for a 32nd week at No. 1, up 399 percent to 109,000 equivalent album units. It simultaneously soars back to the penthouse (21-1) on the all-genre Billboard 200 for a second week on top, after it debuted atop the list dated Nov. 23, 2019. Meanwhile, the set's 102.3 million weekly streams for its songs breaks its own record for the largest streaming week for a country album. It first set the record in its debut week (74 million). Further, with What You See Is What You Get crowning Top Country Albums and "Forever" dominating Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales, Combs is the first artist to rule four country rankings since Wallen led the same four lists dated Aug. 29. Combs (2019) and Kane Brown (2017) are the only artists that have led all five country charts simultaneously, having added Country Airplay coronations to their sweeps. ***#1 on Hot 100 is Ariana Grande - "positions"

Had Ariana not had the song out this week, we'd have seen Luke do what hasn't been done by any country artist since 2005.

Yeah, it's a shame Ariana had to release a new single at the same time because it would've been neat to see a country song at #1 on the Hot 100, and without any kind of crossover success, too. Still incredible that it debuted at #2 though. Wow, just wow. And to think Morgan Wallen's debut with "7 Summers" looked simply unheard of just a couple months back. Luke Combs said "hold my beer," lol.

I figured the top of the charts must've been stronger in August when 7 Summers debuted than it is now, so I was wondering if that made a significant difference in Forever After All charting a few spots higher or if the song itself is really that much more successful upon debut.

Combs needs to book an AMAs performance and start the crossover for Forever After All. Could be huge during the winter.

Incredible to see a country song debuting at #2. This genre has had a gigantic bounce back in the mainstream world in the last few years. So many songs peaking inside the Top 20 and even Top 10 now. It’s so cool to see.

It’s so cool to see. What makes his success even better is the fact that his songs aren’t exactly charting on other formats unlike the others.

Folks, I do apologize probably for the unnecessary post, but yes it pertains to "Forever After All" and I hope this is the last time I talk about this song that is not yet a radio single but here it goes. I just checked the iTunes All Genre sales chart and "Forever After All" was down to #8 this morning when I checked (10AM) but as of right now it is back at #1!!! I am stunned!

So this one re-entered Billboard Hot Country at #6, and total of 12 Luke Combs songs on top 50. Didn't expect for Hot Country to react this much to Deluxe Album Release, including some re-enters of original album songs. But this song was forgotten when the chart was issued on Monday. Originally #50 was Arkansas by Chris Stapleton, which is now #51 after the chart was revised. Not Cool Billboard! (My weekly chart video missed this song due to their mistake...)

I always liked this as an album track and was somewhat rooting for it to be a single at some point, but the heavy rotation radio immediately put this on has me sick to death of it. It's just not a song I can take ten times a day.

It's just not a song I can take ten times a day. I barely liked it as an album track when it first came out, but now I absolutely can't stand it at this point. It's just such a boring tuneless song to hear on the radio. Instant station changer for me.

I think my biggest problem with this song is just that there is pretty much no production, hardly any instruments and pretty much just Luke Combs voice, and while Luke Combs is a solid vocalist his voice isn't one suited for this type of song.

This is by far my least favorite Combs single... so bland and uninspired. I really want them to start the push for "Forever After All" as soon as possible. If Morgan Wallen can do it, I don’t see why he can’t.

Reached new peak of #19 on Hot 100. Third (Fourth when Forever After All officially becomes a single) single from the album to reach top 20 on Hot 100.

I am still really liking this one but I am hoping for a jam (“Cold As You” or “1,2 Many”) to be the next single! After that he can release “Forever After All” which is a really nice song too.

Thanks Luke for not making Scooter Braun's plan of pushing blatantly pop music to country genre works!
