“Lost In Japan” is a song from Shawn Mendes’ self titled album. A remix of the song by Zedd was released and sent as a single to Pop radio. The remix peaked at #48 on the Hot 100, #15 on CHR, #16 on HAC, and #30 on AC.
This is one of my favorite Shawn Mendes songs. I like the original but personally, the remix elevated it even more for me. This is one of those songs that takes me right back to 2018.

I thought there were much better options on the album to release, specifically "Nervous."
This was okay, but definitely not one of my favorites from him.

The remix was awful. The original is my favorite song of his...although "Where Were You In The Morning" is right up there too

This was one of my few favorites of his recent releases. It's such a mood. I liked the remix for what it was but I still prefer the original.

The remix is one of the only decent-ish/good things Zedd has done since True Colors. That said, the original version of the song is way better.

The album rollout and single choices after In My Blood was awful
I hate the remix of thos especially, the original was decent

Great song from him and yes the song will always remind me of 2018. The remix is very good.
