Man this sucks! I hope he's going to be ok. I was so excited for the Charlotte show in 2 weeks. But he needs to take care of himself!

That really came out of nowhere… it was just a couple of days ago that they announced the Disney+ partnership for the tour. Things must be really bad behind the scenes for his team to let him postpone some many dates like this. I hope he gets the help he needs.

The absolute right choice! He need to find himself, and you don’t do that on a stage.

I’m sad to see this cause I’m supposed to see him in Pittsburgh in two weeks. But I completely understand why he did it. He needs to take care of himself first.

Someone posted on Deuxmoi that cancellation is due to low ticket sales.

Weird considering how he has been selling out his shows, LOL.

Yeah I highly doubt ticket sales are an issue. From what I've seen all the shows have been sold out or close to it. And the Charlotte show I was going to only had mainly the high up seats left last time I looked.

He's probably burnt out. These labels are demons working these artist to death. I'm surprised there aren't more mental health crises with these young artists.

I don't think the major pop star thing is for him. On one hand he's not even pulling the streams anymore, and on the other hand it seems like it has taken a toll on his mental health. Hopefully his contract allows for him to gracefully bow out of stuff like touring.

Does anyone have his single peaks on Pop radio? Mediabase.

Wow... for his management to allow him to cancel 80 shows, some difficult things must be going on. I had a feeling that, if he's struggling with so bad with his mental health, 3 weeks away wouldn't be enough for him to feel secure enough to take on such a long tour.

I hope he is getting the help he needs. Canceling a tour scheduled into the middle of next year must mean that he's going through a very rough time. I wish him well.

I really don't know much about him but it's hard not to, from a distance, assume he's really struggling and has been for a while. I hope he is getting help.

Yep, from what I can recall, he’s been talking openly about his mental health struggles since around 2018 (when he dropped “In My Blood”). It was also around that time he did that Rolling Stone interview, when he talked about the intense speculation about his sexuality and the anxiety/panic attacks he got from it. I also remember reading him talking more recently about how that Calvin Klein campaign kinda effed up his body image and fed into his struggle with his self identity. There seems to be a lot of layers to this, but for someone who’s been working nonstop in the public eye since he was a teenager, It must be hard to shield your brain from all the noise... still, I’m glad he’s being open about it and taking care of himself… talking about mental health is so important (and so rare when it comes to male celebrities)

I am sure this a s**t-show for his team, promoters, etc. But its great to see that regardless of all the work it took to put this together and all the work (and money lost) it takes to cancel such a long tour, they are on the artists' side and allowed him the time he needs to take care of himself.
I cannot imagine everyone's team would be this understanding, even in dire situations. So props not only to Shawn for being open about his mental health, but the people around him who seem to be supporting him.

Does anyone have his single peaks on Pop radio? Mediabase. Something may be off by a spot, but I believe this is correct: 44 Something Big #1 Stitches (2 weeks) 10 I Know What You Did last Summer (w/Camilla Cabello) #2 Treat You Better #6 Mercy #1 There's Nothin' Holdin' Me Back (2 weeks) #6 In My Blood 15 Lost in Japan #2 If I Can't Have You #1 Senorita (w/Camilla Cabello) (4 weeks) 14 Wonder 15 Monster (w/Justin Bieber) 16 Summer of Love (w/Tainy) 11 When You're Gone
