This song rocks in my direction. I heard two notes and gave it a thumbs up. Nice to hear Brian Johnson is still lead singer. I thought they had fired him and were gonna replace him with Axel Rose. Nice to hear that didn't happen.
Also one of the fastest Download/checks I've done this year.

My new rock station played this while I was driving home. It's AC/DC, not sure what else to say. It felt a bit short and I'm bummed there's no guitar solo.

Glad to see they didn’t go the Imagine Dragons route. This is quintessential AC/DC.

No features. No Swedish songwriters. No trap beats. 100% pure uncut rock.

I listened to this an hour ago, thinking it was some release from 1988 that I'd never heard.
LOL.
I mean, good song and legendary band...but wow.

Guys it's an AC/DC song part 50. We all know ,and can hear that, but if you are like me then you want AC/DC song part 50. They are perfect the way they are. What you don't want is an AJ/RC song.
Also I haven't listened to the lyrics ,because let's face it I can't understand them, but I like the song's title. It's like a shot of pure hard rock in these dark dark times we currently live in.

At this point in my life, AC/DC are like comfort food. With everything else happening in the world, it's honestly kind of cozy to welcome back an old friend.
As far as leadoff singles go, I'll certainly take this over 2014's "Play Ball".

Saw this in my Release Radar on Spotify and expected it to be an old unreleased track or something. Wasn't expecting it to be brand new. (Though it sounds like an old unreleased track lol.) It's exactly what you'd expect from AC/DC, but at least it's good AC/DC. I like this.
And that start on Active is insane, shit! How does that compare to "Under the Graveyard"?

Talk about being on FIRE! This one will probably go to #1 and be off the chart before the end of the year.

What I'm really interested in is its chart length. Older veterans tend to fall out of the chart quickly, as we saw with Motley Crue last year, and Play Ball also fell out very quickly, not to mention, Rock or Bust did the same thing despite lasting a little longer. However, Ozzy Osbourne averted this trend with his last era, and Metallica are doing fine. If this manages to spend multiple weeks at #1 (which it should), then it'll manage a 20 week run minimum.
Whether Wednesday's numbers are a result of a radio deal, we'll find out once we get the eighth day effect next Thursday. Under the Graveyard's eighth day effect was -155 for reference.

#5 debut on Mainstream Rock. Not to mention their 16th top 10.

Also, this is fine, but I'll be upset if this blocks Deftones from getting their first #1 on active.

A good handful of listens in and, yes, I agree with the sentiment that it's quite the Shot in the Arm to hear a complete throwback in these particularly insane times. This has found its way on repeat on my playlist...but perhaps that's more fascination with how they sound going into their sixth decade of song. Well done, I say!

I mean was there any doubt on anyone's mind? I don't see anything in the horizon that should take this down. At least not anything that makes sense to me. I hope it goes from this song to Greta Van Fleet for the next number one.

The entire album may as well just be "Shot in the Dark" twelve times repeated. I literally can't tell the difference.
