Post Malone is a big Fleetwood fan and he’s dabbled in similar genres (he’s definitely influenced by them, too). He’d be down for a remix, or maybe a new song, even.

Fleetwood Mac is one of Post's biggest influences.... Circles is obviously heavily inspired by them and he has a track from his debut mixtape called Hollywood Dreams which is a remix of Dreams

Yeah, I don't get it. How often does he use autotune? His singing voice is just like that. Also I've seen his Nirvana set earlier this year, dude is really good live when he tries.

Circles sounds like a Fleetwood Mac cut anyways, he's the perfect fit for a remix.

I think you're on to a lot of good points here, but let me chime in with my view a little:

- Cardi and Megan's body types were not always the standard. In fact, a lot of people still would argue that they aren't the "ideal;" it is still very rare that you will see bodies like theirs portrayed in culture outside of contexts where they're sexualized. So for two Black women to wear whatever the hell they want and talk about sex as ubiquitously as men (of all races) have been doing for decades should not be controversial, imo. 
- I think it is also pretty weird that the male gaze has put us in a place where we feel the need to control what songs our kids dance to. Why is it bad that children are dancing to the most popular song in the world? Kids have always done this, whether it's "Shape of You" or "Sexy and I Know It" or "Thrift Shop". Why does it become problematic when it's from a female perspective? 
- The two problems in society: patriarchy and body image trends. (it's almost like they're related or something, hmm.) Unfortunately, they won't go away anytime soon, but I think a lot of progress is being made, and artists like Madonna, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, among others, have really helped flip the script when it comes to how women were expected to behave and be portrayed.

Kim Petras is not charting due to societial reasons. Until society accepts transgender people, she will not chart even if her music is top quality.

Of course there’s gonna be societial issues when the song is named “WAP”. It’s also much more explicit than some popular songs. Also, encouraging children to dance to a song that talks about pussy, cum, and explicit sex is obviously gonna cause issues between the general public.

There’s nothing ok with children dancing and singing to WAP. If you think that’s ok I feel sad for you. And parents that let their children should be punched. Life is hard enough children don’t need to be exposed to that any earlier than necessary. Once you have kids your perspective will completely change. Kids are innocent and we should protect that as much as we can.

why? "WAP" isn't an explicit name in and of itself, and the song has 2 clean versions to choose from. It's not the first song to be explicit or talk ubiquitously about sex, either. This society has even let slide men talking about DRUGGING women to have sex in their songs. a song like "Blurred Lines" broke airplay records. There's a clear double standard.

the more you oppress sexuality in your kids, the worse decisions they are going to make down the line. obviously I'm not talking about children who CANNOT legally consent, but pretending that teens are "innocent and parents should be punched if they let them listen to explicit music" is a useless rhetoric. I'm talking kids that are 13 and over, who are allowed to sign up for TikTok, who should (and sometimes do) receive sex ed, and begin their journey to discover their sexualities/gender identities. Obviously a 6 year-old dancing to a suggestive song like "WAP" would be weird. no one's arguing that. I also haven't come across any videos of the sort.

what I mean by "patriarchy" being the reason for this is that I'm guessing when a minor does post a video with "WAP" in it, it is going to have adult men viewing and sexualizing them. in a perfect world, I don't think there would be any problem with teens dancing to whatever song they wanted to, but putting content online is a different thing.
