Here are female artists with consecutive combo hits from 1 album, from the past 30 years. I only include 1 combo hits from 1 artist. Artists who had multiple eras with consecutive combo hits, i chose the more memorable/popular combo hits (imo). So for example i chose: - The Bodyguard era over Debut/Whitney era - True Blue era over Like a Virgin/Like a Prayer era - Rhythm Nation era over Control/janet. era - Daydream era over Music Box/TEOM era - GGGB era over Loud era I included re-release era like GGGB, The Fame Monster and Teenage Dream

My top favorite is definitely Mariah, even if the 2 follow up radio hits were included (Forever and Underneath The Stars), although imo One Sweet Day is actually just okay.
Whitney is also my favorite but Im Every Womam is never my cup of tea. 3 extremely strong ballads though.
But for 5 combo, i prefer Madonna/Janet/Kelly Clarkson/Fergie/Katy Perry over Paula/Rihanna/Beyonce/Lady Gaga/Taylor Swift. Because Madonna/Janet/Kelly Clarkson/Fergie/Katy Perry had only 1 weak hit from the combo: True Blue, Come Back To Me, Walk Away, Fergalicious and Last Friday Night. And all weak hits are still quite enjoyable.
The other artists with 5 combo hits, i generally dislike 2-3 hits. For example Rihanna, i really dislike SYAD, DSTM and Disturbia.

I'm voting Mariah, Katy and Ariana. I love almost all of the artists here but these eras... aren't their best at all. (besides Mariah and Katy I guess.)

1. Janet "Rhytmn Nation" era 2. Paula Abdul "Forever Your Girl" era 3. Madonna "True Blue" era 4. Mariah "Daydrream" era 5. Nelly's "Loose" era 6. Rihanna "GGGB" era 7. Fergie's "The Dutchess" era 8. Kelly's "Breakaway" era 9. Katy's "Teenage Dream" 10. Beyonce "IASF" era
Had Whitney's first album or second album even third album been used I would've place it on the list.

My favorite string of hits is definitely from NTLTC to BUWYGIB, that era was perfect!
Voted for Ari, Katy, Furtado

Im surprised Nelly Furtado is among the. top votes, despite she was only huge 2006-2007. Was she really that popular in US back than (as a musician) ? I remember some people consedered her Loose era was just a lucky era, thanks to Timbaland, because she failed to gain her own real fanbase, just casual fans of Timbaland music.
Cant believe her follow up era bombed hard.

Had Whitney's first album or second album even third album been used I would've place it on the list. Yeah i had to pick The Bodyguard era. because some hits from her debut/2nd era were kinda forgotten? Like You Give Good Love, DWAHIA, So Emotionwl, WDBHG, LWSTD. Run To You despite didnt hit top 10, is maybe more remembered thanks to Bodyguard But what an amazing string of hits though, from her 3 first eras, until My Name Is Not Susan kinda underperformed.

Cant believe her follow up era bombed hard. In my experience, when Loose came out I was 4 years old, but I remember Promiscuous was all over the radio the entire summer. You couldnt escape it and Say It Right was always on the radio throughout the 2007 year even after its chart run. She was popular for a short time here in the US but the songs were ironclad hits.

Feels unfair to compare a three-song run to a seven-song run. I picked Janet Jackson, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga.

Feels unfair to compare a three-song run to a seven-song run. I picked Janet Jackson, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga. Well, I still think Janet's & Katy's 7 hits are very strong. It's not like half of the hits are very forgettable/filler, maybe only 1 or 2. (But it's just my opinion). But i understand your feeling, for examples Mariah's 3 hits of Daydream are equally strong and huge. Compared to 4 of Janet's 7 hits like Escapade, Alright, Come Back To Me, Black Cat, those seem less bigger. Or Katy's Last Friday Night, TOTGA, Part Of Me, and Wide Awake.

I was more thinking the longer eras for Janet, Rihanna, Gaga (and others) feel like more impressive 'streaks' than Mariah or Nelly Furtado.

The iconic knockout row of "It's Like That", "We Belong Together", "Shake It Off", and "Don't Forget About Us" is legendary. It revived careers, revived souls, revived lives only to have em' drop dead at the fabulousity of it all. With that said, I voted for the Daydream string in its place, I guess.
I would also add the string of 1989 hits, the string of Breakaway hits, the string of Bodyguard hits, the string of Teenage Dream hits, the string of Come On Over hits. All are incredible.
Honorable mentions to Fergie and I would also add in a few others (CrazySexyCool comes to mind with "Creep" to "Diggin On You", but I guess we are referencing solo artists).

Can't believe Nelly Furtado wins this (tied with Mariah). And nobody bought her English follow up album after Loose.
