Now thats certainly not what I would call music, but whatever…
In all seriousness, I know this is more of a UK thing, but this doesn't feel like a hit studded album or anything. Nobody's Love is another weird one to me, as is Mamacita and that Kygo song. Plus Past Life and Breaking Me.

Who the fuck is still buying these albums?! I remember buying #8 when I was in like 5th grade. I imagine there’s some hillbilly without streaming still going to Walmart on release day to cop the new NTWICM

Who the f**k is still buying these albums?! I remember buying #8 when I was in like 5th grade. I imagine there’s some hillbilly without streaming still going to Walmart on release day to cop the new NTWICM I still buy them occasionally because it's cheaper than buying them individually on iTunes/Amazon. I still like to have files on my phone and/or iPod. I do use streaming, but it's mostly for a lot of the disposable and flavor of the moment songs/hits that I just cannot bring myself to actually spend my hard earned money on. I would much rather spend my money on things I need like designer shoes, bags, clothes, bougie food, etc. There are still plenty of people who still buy these.

I have faith that the Grammy Nominee discs are now a better representation of the actual music than NOW.
The reasons why the songs aren’t hits is because they want you test the waters. They want you to stream it for what it’s worth. As you said, a song like “Blinding Lights” has been heard so many times... I doubt anyone would purchase the familiar if it’s readily available via streaming.
