I wonder if he’s any relation to late 80’s early 90’s country artist Lionel Cartwright?

I like this, pretty catchy melody overall. He could be considered as Texas Country singer, but doubt he is eligible for Texas Regional Chart now that he is in Nashville, and his music does not sound like traditional Texas Country, even though he is originally from there. Either way, hope to see this does something on the chart even for a little bit.

This is a great song....but its been out since August 2019. What took so long? Warner Nashville’s ultra-long scheduling with their radio artists. I remember when William Michael Morgan was on their roster for two years before they finally sent a song to radio. Walker County hasn’t even gotten a song to radio yet. It’s just the way they like to do things with some of their new artists.

Kind of sounds like everything else out there to me. His voice is pretty generic too. He sounds exactly like someone else to me but I can’t figure out who. Maybe lead singer of Eli Young Band? Idk. Regardless, don’t really care for this.

This song is money. Check out the acoustic version, it is better.

It’s just the way they like to do things with some of their new artists. When I first read the thread title I thought this was actually for Trea Landon's second single haha They really do like taking their time. I've voiced this to a few people but Warner Bros. frustrates me because they have a good roster that sits around for too long most times. And they're overloaded with new male artists atm, I wouldn't be shocked to see one or two be cut in the coming months. As for this song it's catchy but doesn't feel like something that will break through. I think it'll get lost in the shuffle.

This is easily the best thing he's released under Warner. He's got lots of great stuff though, so I'm glad they are finally pushing him. If I remember correctly, this did pretty well on streaming months and months ago, so I could see it becoming a hit. Super catchy and fun.

Without my glasses on I read this as "Hang Up On You" and that would have been a cool song title!

This is catchy inoffensive radio fodder, but I do like it a little bit more than the standard faceless new male artist single. I can't really imagine this being a hit for him though.

DOA even by this years standards. 9 adds on first week, looks like this won't do anything.

The chorus melody of this sounds exactly like something else I've heard before but I can't place it and it's bothering me so much, ugh. I hate that, lol.

I like this. It's the standard faceless male single but one of the much better ones if that makes any sense. Troy's vocal delivery here is nice, particularly in the chorus. I'm not surprised it was lost in the shuffle at radio.
The mass amount of new men at Warner Nashville is something that has to be looked into tbh. It has proven to cause problems for a number of artists, with songs like this and Trea Landon's "Loved By A Country Boy" arriving to radio already dead because of the sheer amount of time between release and radio impact. Like...how are they going to market these men to an audience wider than the fans they already have when they can't get a single to hold out long enough at radio (or even get 15 adds max on first week)?

The more I hear this, the more infatuated with it I become. The chorus melody is FIRE. I really wish I could remember what it sounds like though because it sounds so similar to a pop song from like the early 2000s-ish but I can't place which one.
