She said its time to hoe it up on this Urban-lite bop and I am living for how direct it is

Shes gonna work two singles at once? Yes. This isn't the first time Republic does that because they did the same (not too close, of course) with the thank u, next singles.

This is nowhere NTLTC level. Trash. She's one of the artists that really has to incorporate sexual things into her songs just to gain audience. Can't she write about something else? I mean her team.

This is a great single choice, it's the catchiest song on the album.

Is there an issue with a grown woman singing about sex??? why does it mean sheβs trying to gain audience?

Bieber is doing two singles at once. That's the way to go since everything after the album release flops nowadays.

Male artists incorporate sexual content into their music all the time and no one bats an eyelash, but when a female does it, we get people like you saying s**t like this that it's "trashy". Why can't she sing about her rocking, active sex life? I think this is quite mild in terms of sexual content. I think she could have gone, much, much further, harder, deeper, longer, wetter, etc. and I would really like her to. We need more sex, and fuc king positive songs. We need to celebrate fu cking. I like this. It's a hot one. It's a lowkey bop.

This might flop in a big way, it has no substance, just the album hype...

This might flop in a big way, it has no substance, just the album hype... NO SUBSTANCE? Girl... This is an iconic watershed moment for Pop music. This is an extremely important song for Ariana. She is at the height of her popularity and her doing a sex positive song about the 69 position which speaks of equality in sexual pleasure for both men and women solidifies her place in the Pop music pantheon as one of the most ground-breaking. Sex and sexuality are extremely important aspects of our society. It is also socio-political. It is a complex study of gender roles, especially when she is singing about how she is on top and in control when riding her man also shows her dominant role in the relationship, demonstrating that she is not submissive in the way society is conditioning people to think that they are supposed to be. There is so much context and subtext to this song. This song has PLENTY of substance. You are just too ignorant, uptight, and repressed to read between the lines.

Baby, you might need a seatbelt when I ride it
I'ma leave it open like a door, come inside it
Even though I'm wifey, you can hit it like a side chick
Don't need no side d**k, no

I instantly liked this and and thought it kind of sounded light hearted. lol. (I'm not always huge on lyrics at first) a lot of posters were making it sound like this was going to be a midtempo bland album but I'm enjoying more of it than I thought I would. This song is a mini bop and kind of reminds me a little of "Thank U Next" mixed with something else? Cute!
