This already debuted on the callouts... And with a 90.3 familiary too. It's also 5th on burn...
I didn't see that coming. The song is already a streaming hit, but I hadn't thought radio audiences would already know it. That's weird. It hasn't even cracked the top 20 yet.
It's 11th on net positive, so the score is not bad... but I don't know what to take away from this outcome

34+35 started out with pretty meh scores but consistently improve over time. The score is fine for now. What "concerns" me, or better yet confuses me, is how a song that's #24 on the pop chart debuted with 90+ familiarity and 5th on heavy burn. Sure, the song has already done well on streaming, but 90% of radio's audience already being exposed to it and some of them even considering it overplayed in its 3rd week of airplay is... odd

Yeah that Fam / Heavy burn score was unexpected tbh... I don't know what to think...

“death bed” hit the Top 10 after having a debut burn rate of 18%, and its other scores were much more negative. This should be fine.

What is the wording for the “heavy burn” question? If it’s something like “are you tired of hearing this?” it may just be people who really don’t like the song rather than thinking it’s overplayed. I’m not sure which is better though

^ “do you dislike this song” and “are you tired of hearing it” are two different questions on the callout survey

She's just unstoppable rn. I'm interested to see how far radio will take this without a streaming boost or video.

I hope a video or a performance are coming soon while it still has this amazing momentum on pop. It's skyrocketed so far

So 90% familiarity means that 1256 people have been confirmed to know it. That’s absolutely nothing, and sheds light on why callouts should stop being so heavily relied on. The sample size is just too small to hold that much weight.

The sample size is just too small to hold that much weight. The sample size is actually pretty significant. A lot of political polls use less from a much larger pool. If 90% of 1400 people have heard it, you can be pretty sure that around 90% of people have heard it

The sample size is just too small to hold that much weight. Do you know or anyone know how big the panel used to be? Off but kind of on topic. When I was a preteen I remember taking a radio survey over the phone a couple of times. I think the person even asked me if it would be ok to call around this time again. I wonder if it was for callouts. That was probably 32 years ago... I just noticed the above post from Fears in the Fire and in a way agree. People are a lot more similar than most people like to admit. I wouldn't be surprised if 1396 people would be enough to determine the scores and realize there may be a little era in them.
