Out of that list -
I think Ashley McBryde, Hardy, and likely Matt Stell are locks.
But for the other two slots? IDK. I wouldn't be surprised with any of them except Niko Moon. Dude has zero buzz.

Parker is likely a lock for one of them and I’d assume Tenille Arts may get the last slot.

CRS loves to pretend they support country women. Ashley is a lock anyways, but Tenille probably makes her way in as well. As she should!
Predictions: Ashley McBryde, Tenille Arts, HARDY, Parker McCollum, Ryan Hurd/Matt Stell.
Did they change the qualification from a Top 20 single to Top 25? Or am I remembering things wrong.

My picks for the New Faces show are Ashley McBryde, Matt Stell, HARDY, Parker McCollum and Jameson Rodgers but I really think it'll be Niko Moon and Travis Denning instead of Jameson and Parker. The other 3 I mentioned to me are locks to get in.

I think they should look at adding one of each from small labels and independents as future stars since they seemed to pick stars from major labels.
Ashley Barron or Tiffany Woys be a good for the lock as future stars.
Derek Johnson, Shane Owens or Cody Jinks for future male artist. Cody Jinks is the male version of Ashley McBryde. They are both badass country outlaw artists.
White Chapel, Smith & Wesley, The Desert City Ramblers or Lockeland could be the future duo or group of country. We do have a lack of duo and groups on the charts.

It literally says in the Tweet that the criteria for selection is "need to have a top 25 airplay hit to qualify." None of the artists you listed are in the running because they are ineligible.

The Desert City Ramblers did get a top 25 on the Billboard Indicator Chart. I know it is small market, but it shows that they are a hit. Their latest song is jumping up faster and debut not long after release. The way those guys are going? The major labels will sign them soon.

If this post gets me a warning I don't care because rant ahead. Oh my gosh no one gives a fuck about the indicator chart besides you and a very small subset of country music audience and this has been told to you many times. Its only the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay that matters for the New Faces and that is how it will always be. I do not know how many times people need to tell you this. Because no matter how many times you bring up *insert random indie act that no one has heard of because they are irrelevant* it doesn't hold any weight for this thread or other artists threads, as hardly anyone cares because these indie acts until they get mainstream radio won't matter that much as most indie acts in the grand scheme of things are irrelevant outside of a few exceptions. Just for fun on YouTube The Desert City Ramblers have 286 subscribers and their latest music video comes in at 24,000 views and was released 6 months ago for comparison just to show how relevant the country music world views acts that are on the Indicator chart.

To be fair about The Desert City Ramblers, Brian McComas was part of New Faces back in 2004/05 as a solo artist. He hit the top 10 with "99.9% Sure" in 2004, and was mainstream. I would not call them unknown, but more of a comeback artists who created a new group.

I would not call them unknown, but more of a comeback artists who created a new group. I wouldn't say what Brian McComas is doing is any sort of comeback or it is at least not one with any impact in general since Brian McComas had one Top 10 single in 2003 and I bet hardly anyone remembers him outside of country music historians and some country radio people that were around back in 2003 considering the fact that his highest viewed song on YouTube clocks in at less than 100,000 views, after that Top 10 single he reached the Top 30 with one more single before fading into obscurity as one of the many forgotten male singers of the early 2000s who only get brought up for nostalgia purposes every once in a great blue moon on the Internet. Like I said before this act is virtually unknown to probably 99% of country music listeners considering the fact that they (The Desert City Ramblers) have less than 10,000 Spotify listeners and for example a new act like say Tenille Arts who is nominated for CRS New Faces has currently over 400,000 monthly listeners.

Cody Jinks, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell have over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Cody Jinks do have a big following on social media and streaming sites. Tenille Arts is not huge on streaming sites. A lot of these new faces are unknown. So, that is hard to say these artists are big like Reba, or when Chris Cagle when he first came out. As I checked the qualification requirement, , It does not say large or small market. Number 2 said that an artist who went solo or join a band, can be a new face. Since The Desert City Ramblers got a Top 25 on the BDS-Based Country Chart on the Indicator sounds like they do qualfied. It is not the first time that an artist on an Independent Label made the new faces. We had some years with a lack of new artists on major labels which they do seem to have a loophole here. The Indicator and Activator are both still published by both BDS and Country Aircheck.

There is no loophole. It has always been based on the Country Airplay chart from BDS. Stop talking about things you don't know about.

Top 25 on one of those charts is the equivalent of not even charting on the mainstream chart. I know you like pretending these charts are equal and interchangeable with the main Billboard and Mediabase charts, but they are not.

A little surprised he got the nod over Parker.

Glad Tenille got in. Giving the female artists some well deserved love.
