"Sun Is Shining" was a song by Bob Marley & the Wailers first appearing on the Lee Perry-produced album Soul Revolution in 1971. The Funkstar De Luxe remix came out in 1999. The song was remixed in 1999 by Danish house producer Funkstar De Luxe, credited to Bob Marley vs. Funkstar De Luxe. The producer was the first to receive clearance from the Marley estate to release official remixes of the late singer's music. It was a global Dance hit peaking at #1 on the Club charts in the U.S. and went top 3 on the UK singles chart. The main De Luxe and Rainbow versions were similar. ATB and Jonathan Peters also remixed this. Radio Mix
This was one of those really strange and unexpected remixes that worked so well. The vibe of the two main Funkstar De Luxe mixes was very chill and went well with the original vocals. The ATB mix was the most popular on the heels of "9PM (Till I Come)"'s success. It had that same sort of guitar hook but he adapted the production to be softer and in line with the main versions. The Jonathan Peters one was a hard, dark anthem. There were actually two different versions of that.

Love this. Still have the Keep On Moving album and also love the remix of Grace Jones’ “Pull Up To The Bumper.”

I LOVE the Funkstar De Luxe remix - I heard it out all the time!
Robin Schulz released a remix earlier this year as well.

Heard this on one of those dance internet stations that I used to listen to back then. I think I heard this on defunct Energy 92.7/92.5 in the early 2000s back when I listened to the radio. This is a good track.
