I'm okay with an extension if it means that we get a larger player base.

Just submitted! This list was really hard. I truly enjoy most of 95% of the songs that I'm really familiar with.

I found a better source for these, and I know I missed a few for 1994, so here are some airplay-only hits in 1995 that could have been potential hits on the Hot 100.
This was actually #1 for 8 weeks on the Airplay chart, as well as Pop. Most people know it from the TV sitcom Friends. I never would have guessed it was such a huge radio hit. This would have definitely been in my top 10, if only for all the times I heard it on the show.
It did technically peak in the top 20 on the Hot 100, presumably once the single was released as a double A-side with "This House Is Not A Home", but it clearly didn't have enough time to make the year-end Hot 100, having peaked in airplay long before it was released as a single.
I would have had this pretty high, too. Peaked at #6 on the Airplay chart, and #2 on pop.
Rest in peace...
I would have also had this Alanis song pretty high. "You Oughta Know", although listed as an airplay-only hit was actually also released a year later as a double A-side and peaked at #6 on the Hot 100, making 1996's year-end top 30.
Another well-known alt rock classic that peaked in the top 20 on the Airplay chart.
The Eagles' comeback single.
A lesser known song from Friends, but a good one, nonetheless; you can even see Monica in the music video.
I find this one to be quite nice!
Released in 1994, but spent most of its chart run in 1995.

Honestly found this year to be a little below average compared to 1994 but I will say this: My Top 20 (or rather Top 21 since I had to rank those other double singles) were all contenders for my Top 10. Hell, they're all some of the best '90s songs in general.

For the top 5: "Waterfalls", "Fantasy", "Secret", "Kiss From A Rose", and maybe "The Rhythm of the Night". For the bottom 5: "Constantly", "Hold On", "Dream About You", "Short Dick Man", some other R&B song that no one cares about. Bryan Adams could be there, but I hope not. I'd rather have something like "I Believe" in the bottom 5. Janet Jackson has the most songs here, and I'm sure they'll all make the top 40. If not, then maybe TLC or Notorious B.I.G. can tie for the most top-40 entries. "Cotton Eye Joe" for the highest SD, or maybe "Brown Sugar" or a gangsta rap song. "Short Dick Man" could also be up there. Looking forward to the reveals!

I know that my #107 will have a very high SD, possibly the highest in the entire set.

1. What songs do you expect to see in the top 5?
I won't reveal my Top 5 quite yet but I'm hoping it's any of the five songs on there. Maybe Secret will be on there too since it won in 1994 but don't expect that song to not be tanked by me. I don't have it too low but it's still one of Madonna's more underwhelming songs to me.
Also because justice to Dolores O'Riordan.
2. What songs do you expect to see in the bottom 5?
Hold On, Dream About You, and Tootsee Roll all better be on there. And Cotton Eye Joe depending on how many people have had kindergarten PTSD listening to it recently. Somehow doubt it though. (If my homie gravey were here right now, Dear Mama would be his #106 and CEJ would be his #1.)
I will forewarn a lot of you that my #106 of the year may be an unfortunate placement and you'll see why when it gets revealed.
3. Which artist/group will have the most Top 40 entries?
If TLC does not have the most Top 40 entries, I'm selling one of my kidneys. If Waterfalls isn't one of them, I'll sell the other one.

1. What songs do you expect to see in the top 5?
Secret (judging from how well it did last time), Fantasy (bcuz Mariah), Gangsta's Paradise, Creep & Waterfalls
2. What songs do you expect to see in the bottom 5?
Short Dick Man (plz), Cotton Eye Joe, Constantly & both Stevie B songs. ...seriously, why was Stevie B still having hits in '95?
3. Which artist/group will have the most Top 40 entries?
Janet and maybe TLC (depending on whether all of Janet's hits make the top 40)

Is it one of the Biggie or 2pac songs?

One of the Stevie B songs is actually pretty good IMO (you'll see what it is once the reveals get going). My thoughts on the other one are as follows: "Man, this Stevie B song sure does exist, doesn't it?".

(If my homie gravey were here right now, Dear Mama would be his #106 and CEJ would be his #1.)] I think he would have had "Another Night" at #1. I remember him saying it's one of his favourite songs ever. And I want to believe he'd have the same last-place as me, unless you mean you think "Dear Mama" could be his second-last.

I recall his reasoning being that the song makes Tupac sound like a mama's boy. Still a bizarre reason to hate this song that makes me laugh every time.
