Echoing the excitement of everyone else here. Logged onto Pulse to see that Lauren Alaina's next single is exactly the song I didn't want, but also seeing that Tim McGraw balanced the scales out by picking the song I did want! "7500 OBO" is a jam and a standout on his newest album. Very happy to see he occasionally still does make good choices with respect to country radio. Rooting for this one to be a big hit for him, because even though "I Called Mama" was his best chart showing in the past ~4 years, it still didn't exactly move the needle like he's capable of, and his days at radio are likely winding down here soon.

I was hoping for "Hard To Stay Mad At", but this is an excellent choice as well and likely the best choice commercially.

After the crazy push radio gave I called mama, I'm very curious if this one will really get any play. That seemed like a retirement gift push

This is a jam, and very relatable. Should be a hit!

Perfect choice! They're 2/2 in terms of picking the singles from this album. I hope it's a massive hit for him.

This one is steadily growing on me. At first, I thought it was pretty generic run-of-the-mill modern country. However, the melody is really strong (especially love the vocal arrangement in the verse) and there's some nice elements to the instrumental that I really like and that set it apart from the 'norm.' Honestly tho, I prefer this version:

I'm not a big fan of this song. I love the fiddle sample in it and the chorus is great, but the producion just doesn't do work for me. The drum loop is too heavy, and it makes the whole song sound like some recycled 2013 demo.
Anyway, it will very likely smash hard and I'm rooting for it, as I want "Hard to Be Mad at" to be released so bad. That song is a masterpiece.

I think a lot of people are really burned out with any songs about trucks. Since 2010, so many songs about trucks hit the charts. "Here On Earth" would be the bigger hit over this.

It was the drum loop, that's why I disliked this at first lol. I still wish that wasn't so heavy like you said, but I kinda have gotten used to it I guess so it doesn't bother me as much anymore, especially since the melody is really striking my fancy now.

Songs about trucks are a part of country music, just like drinking songs. There is nothing to prove it won't be a hit, just like "Here On Earth" we have no proof of it either way. I've never seen so much mindless babbling about stuff from any other posters on here.

I thought it was worth mentioning that "7500 OBO" is no longer showing up at all on All Access as January 11, 2021 impacting date is no longer showing up for this or any song for that matter. It may still be coming in January but January 11th is no longer showing up as its impact date for radio.

Tim mentioned on his Apple Music radio show Beyond the Influence that “Hard To Stay Mad At” was going to be the next single. I guess we will see what happens!

sabre14, is there any update if this is still impacting radio on January 11, 2021? We know a new single is coming as "I Called Mama" peaked awhile back now, so the follow up has to be around the corner to that.

So Tim posted this to all his social media yesterday and tagged Tyler Hubbard in the post...
Tyler posted an instagram story a couple of months ago of a new song called "Undivided". I just assumed that it was going to be on FGL's new album and possibly the lead single. But now this post from Tim has me wondering if maybe Tyler wrote the song and Tim has recorded it. Is it possible this will be his new single and we won't get a second single from "Here On Earth"?

I hardly see Tim giving up on an album full of great and inspired material to release a single written by Tyler Hubbard, whose most inspired moment translated into the "stick the pink umbrella in your drink" line off of the atrocious "Sun Daze"...

There's still an impact date of January 11 set for this, so that has me optimistic that they're still planning on going through with it as the next single. What a shame it would be if they pulled it last second; thankfully I don't think that's the case. Fingers crossed; I'd love to hear this on the radio heading into the spring and early summer.

How are you seeing there is still an impact date of January 11th for this? Do you have a source for this? I know All Access removed this from their upcoming releases weeks back.

The OP of this very thread still states a January 11 date. I don't have All Access, but I figured sabre14 would've edited the OP if the plans had changed and the impact date was canceled.
