This week starts the new chart year, so it is time to look back and look ahead. The two questions are:
1. What have you noticed over the past year?
2. What would you like to see for the upcoming year?

Let's see more of this FEMALE SURGE please!!!!! 2020 has been the best year for women since we had Martina/Faith/Jo Dee/Shania/Reba/Terri/Sara all competing for airplay at the same time!

I refuse to predict anything for 2021. I learned my lesson from this year.

Not a prediction but more wishful thinking on a few artists.
Hoping that Michael Ray, Brett Young and Scotty McCreery get a boost to their careers in 2021. Male artists with awesome and distinctive voices who are so underrated. Although they have had a bit of success here and there, they deserve so much more IMO.
Since everybody else is using collaborations to get to the top of the charts and get recognized in the industry, it would be time for them to do so as well. i.e. Brett Young with Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery with either Luke Combs or Eric Church. Those NC boys would sound great together. Not sure about Michael Ray.
Guess, we'll have to wait and see however, not counting on it.
