So this is going to be #1 Alt for 52 weeks and be #1 YE 2021 looking at the success of Level of Concern, right?

This is actually quite good. Perhaps they should have released it before Thanksgiving in order to get a bit more mileage out of it.

Lol I was literally oblivious to this thread until Daryl showed me the ropes.
But on the other hand, I like this. It’s safe & sweet. Naturally I don’t think it’ll do too much damage even with name value.

It's not going to stop stations from playing it anyway - but they seem to have simply made it for the spirit of the season and as a treat for their fans, a sentiment I gladly appreciate. This is better than "Level of Concern" in my opinion, and should be in my personal Christmas rotation for a good many years. :)

It’s honestly a no-brainer spin for any alt station. I wonder how high it can peak before it dies because its 3rd and final chart week includes the 24th (when I assume it’ll get a lot of plays) BUT also includes the 25th (which I assume will be the start of its death; radio stations probably syndicate on that specific day and idk how much they’ll play it) plus the 26th and the 27th where it’ll get no plays.

I’m rooting for it to go as far as possible regardless. I agree it’s somewhat palette cleansing after LoC. I love when artists give little treats that are straight up for the fans.

This was probably my favourite new Christmas song to come out of this year. The lyrics are so 2020, but I can also see them applying to other years. I imagine that I’ll be listening to this for Christmases to come.

This remains one of my favourite original Christmas songs of the last 10-20 years. It gets more and more relatable as the years go by.
