Which pop act should be bigger in the US than they are? Who deserves more hit songs and who deserve more credit and recognition for their past work?

Alessia Cara and Normani for sure. Lauren gets my third vote, since she was always my favorite from Fifth Harmony going back to TXF. She always had the best voice.
I like Steinfeld, Michaels, and Anne-Marie, too, though.

Although not a fan of Kylie Mingoue, she has worked her ass off in the industry and she deserves it.
Normani I want to see her win so bad, but I do not know why we havent heard anything from her in awhile. So I'm not going to count her as of yet.
The rest that I didnt vote for I understand why they arent A-Listers. Some on this list are D-listers tbh.

I'm choosing Bebe Rexha, Kim Petras, Ava Max, and Ella Mai for now, but we have a wide array of talented and promising names here (+ the already established but criminally slept on Kylie Minogue and Little Mix)

Does this need the caveat that these acts are B/C listers in the US? I though Little Mix and Kylie Minogue were both total A-listers in their respective home countries but I could be wrong!

It’s hard to compare Kylie, who is a top tier A-lister in the UK, Australia, and most of Europe as well as a decades-long veteran, to artists who’ve debuted in the past 5 years. Kylie deserves more recognition in the US for sure. But as far as younger artists whose material and talent shines and went nowhere, it’s Tinashe bar none. |
