4. "Forget To Forget You"Kanenrá:ke - 1 bboat11 - 4 tim - 4 .indulgecountry - 4 taylor - 7 HeyHeyHey - 8 castleoblivion26 - 8 🌺CountryLineDancer - 11 TOTAL: 47 At #4 is the song that Kanenrá:ke ranked at #1. "Forget To Forget You" is a really strong track on the album. I actually think it would've worked really well on country radio if they decided to go for a third single from the album. Along with a #1 rank, this one scored 3 #4 ranks which means tim, bboat11, and .indulgecountry all get a perfect rank here. This means we have made it to our TOP 3! Will "The Dash", "See You Tonight", or "Carolina Moon" be our winner? Stay tuned to find out....

Keep those perfect rankings coming my way! "Feel Good Summer Song" is just a fantastic song and I love the vibe that the production sets. Glad this was able to make it into the top 5.
I have to give the edge to "See You Tonight" if only because single bias usually propels a song over other album tracks, but it'd be great to see one of them come out ahead (I'm personally rooting for "The Dash"!).

3. "The Dash".indulgecountry - 1 tim - 1 Kanenrá:ke - 3 HeyHeyHey - 4 castleoblivion26 - 5 bboat11 - 5 🌺CountryLineDancer - 10 taylor - 12 TOTAL: 41 At #3 is "The Dash". I think this song is absolutely fantastic! It makes me think of people in my life that have passed and I am sure others feel the same way when listening to it. .indulgecountry and tim both ranked this at #1 and all but two participants ranked this in the top 10. Both songs that have placed at #3 during this album series have dealt with the topic of death - the other being "Clear As Day" in the rankdown of the same name. We have made it to our top 2! They are separated by just one point so it was a very, very close one!

2. "See You Tonight"HeyHeyHey - 1 castleoblivion26 - 1 🌺CountryLineDancer - 1 bboat11 - 1 tim - 2 .indulgecountry - 3 taylor - 4 Kanenrá:ke - 7 TOTAL: 20 The lead single and title track from this album lands at #2. "See You Tonight" peaked at #8 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in March of 2014. This song has always been a fun listen for me and even before re-listening to the entire album I knew that I would most likely be ranking this at #1. Along with myself, castleoblivion26, 🌺CountryLineDancer, and bboat11 all ranked this as their #1. This song was just one point away from landing at #1. There is no disappointment coming from me though because the song that lands at #1 is absolutely gorgeous! 1. "Carolina Moon" (feat. Alison Krauss)taylor - 1 castleoblivion26 - 2 .indulgecountry - 2 bboat11 - 2 Kanenrá:ke - 2 HeyHeyHey - 3 tim - 3 🌺CountryLineDancer - 4 TOTAL: 19 At #1 is "Carolina Moon" - a song that features harmonies from Alison Krauss. This song has such a beautiful sound to it and I am so glad that my Amazon Alexa randomly played this one day last summer when I asked it to play music. I have actually been listening to this song quite a bit in the past month or so! All eight participants ranked this in their top 4 and even though only taylor ranked this at #1, four participants ranked this at #2. ...There we have it! My next post will be about who scored the most perfect ranks!

See You Tonight is one of my favs from 2013 and definitely my best favourite from McCreery to this date. I just love everything about this song and I can enjoy this song whatever mood I'm in. Still happy that Carolina Moon got #1. The instrumental production and the harmony is extremely beautiful and deserved to be released as a single. Thanks for hosting HeyHeyHey

Welp, I spoke too soon as “The Dash” left just as I was hoping it might sneak into the top 2. This song really stopped me in my tracks and was one that I kept coming back around to listen to multiple times. I have to say that’s a rather questionable rank you put this at taylor ! What a photo finish it came down to though! For the most part, it’s so hard for album tracks to overcome singles in these kind of rankdowns. “Carolina Moon” is such a beautiful song and having Alison Krauss singing in the background just sounds heavenly. I believe I initially had this in my top 2 and only moved it back one spot at the last minute. tim - you scored the most perfect ranks on this rankdown! You get to choose which album we rank next, 'Seasons Change' or his American Idol season 10 songs. I will probably set a date tonight for both lists and make whichever one you don't choose due a few weeks later. Didn’t see that coming either lol. Going with his most recent studio album would be an easy choice to make, but I think I’m going to go with his American Idol songs if that’s alright with everyone! I've never listened to those and it'd be great to hear the songs that he covered during that time.

I will set up the dates tomorrow - most likely I will make the Idol songs due in 6 weeks and ‘Seasons Change’ due in 9 weeks (should give people plenty of time for both).

Oh wow, I figured "See You Tonight" would take this without any competition! It's far and above my favorite single of his career, and (no offense to the entire rest of his career that hasn't happened yet) will probably end up being my favorite thing that he ever records.
That being said, "Carolina Moon" was my #2, so obviously I love it as well. It's nice to have a surprise winner every once in awhile!

My top 3 was the top 3! Just in a different order.
Love "Carolina Moon" and I'm pleasantly surprised to see it narrowly unseat the album's lead single for the win here. It is a gorgeous neo-traditional country song and Alison Krauss' harmonies are PERFECTION here.

"Carolina Moon" is so pretty I'm thrilled it won! I would've loved to see them give it a shot at being a single but the radio climate at the time wasn't friendly at all to this style.

HeyHeyHey2. tim 3. bboat114. 🌺CountryLineDancer What will be #1?What else will make up the top 3?What will be #14?What else will make up the bottom 3?“I Love You This Big” is the only original song on the album - where will it place? (it placed at #8 on the ‘Clear As Day’ album rankdown)Any other thoughts on the Scotty McCreery: American Idol Season 10 Compilation album?

So this one is kinda hard to say overall, as I based my rank partially on Scotty's performance at AI. For instance, I found Amazed is a great song, but his performance was not as great, and I was not amazed. Thus, I ranked it somewhere in the middle. Also, since the # of participants is low, I know my rankings would affect the result quite a lot. With those in my mind, the following is my guess.
What will be #1? No idea, Amazed and Always On My Mind were strong as songs, but as performance they were alright. I would say "The River"
What else will make up the top 3? Other than those songs I mentioned, maybe Can I Trust You With My Heart or Country Comfort can sneak in.
What will be #14? Young Blood (this was kinda cringy)
What else will make up the bottom 3? Gone, Swingin'
“I Love You This Big” is the only original song on the album - where will it place? (it placed at #8 on the ‘Clear As Day’ album rankdown) I sadly missed that RD, I would say around #8 again.
Any other thoughts on the Scotty McCreery: American Idol Season 10 Compilation album? It was great to re-visit his AI performance (I was 10 years old at that time lol). Interestingly, I enjoyed his performance around top 12 - 9 than top 3s overall. Scotty was definitely my fav of the season with Pia Toscano, whose elimination was very shocking. While I was not a huge fan of Jennifer and Steven as judges, it was a decent season, if not awesome.

14. "Young Blood"HeyHeyHey - 14 tim - 14 bboat11 - 14 🌺CountryLineDancer - 14 TOTAL: 56 At #14 is "Young Blood". This was one of the two songs Scotty performed during the final 4 round. It was originally sung by a band named The Coasters and released back in the '50s. It was very easy for me to put this one in last place. It was really the only performance of his on the compilation album that I did not care for. Most of the songs on this list are country and since Scotty is in element when singing country music, it makes sense that this would be one of the weaker (if not the weakest) performance of his. At #13 is another song that nobody put in their top 10.

13. "That's All Right"tim - 11 🌺CountryLineDancer - 11 HeyHeyHey - 12 bboat11 - 13 TOTAL: 47 At #13 is "That's All Right". This song was originally written and performed by blue's singer Arthur Crudup and was later Elvis Presley's debut single. Scotty performed this one during the final 9 round. Nobody ranked this in their top 10 so this reveal shouldn't be too disappointing to anyone. bboat11 scores a second perfect rank in a row!

12. "You've Got a Friend"HeyHeyHey - 8 🌺CountryLineDancer - 10 bboat11 - 12 tim - 13 TOTAL: 43 At #12 is "You've Got a Friend". This song was originally performed by Carole King and was a #1 hit for her on the Hot 100 in 1971. Scotty performed this during the top 6 round. Two participants (including myself) ranked this in the top 10 while bboat11 scores a third perfect rank a row! Can we make it four?

11. "For Once In My Life"🌺CountryLineDancer - 4 HeyHeyHey - 11 bboat11 - 11 tim - 12 TOTAL: 38 At #11 is "For Once In My Life". This song was originally sung by Stevie Wonder and it was a hit for him back in the late '60s. Scotty sang this during Motown week when there were 11 contestants remaining. Unfortunately 🌺CountryLineDancer loses a top 5 rank here while bboat11 scores a fourth perfect rank in a row!

10. "Swingin'"HeyHeyHey - 5 bboat11 - 7 tim - 8 🌺CountryLineDancer - 12 TOTAL: 32 Kicking off our top 10 is "Swingin'". John Anderson took this song to #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart back in 1983 and LeAnn Rimes recorded a version of the song a year before Scotty sang it on American Idol. Scotty sang this during the final 7 round which was themed 'Songs of the 21st Century' which is strange because this song came out in the 20th century.... Anyway, I think this song is an absolute JAM! It is so fun and I remember this being one of my favorite Scotty performances at the time. I lose a top 5 placement here and 🌺CountryLineDancer loses a bottom three placement.
