^ I agree I've been paying more attention to this one's gains on radio recently and feel like it's moving at a faster pace than her past radio singles. Anybody know where her other singles were on the chart at this point in their chart runs?

LA posted a cryptic, punny photo yesterday (below). With the news a few weeks ago from that industry report that said Lauren would have a new album out soon, I wonder if we are getting an album announcement? I'm wondering if "Sitting Pretty On" or just "Sitting Pretty" has something to do with whatever is coming since that is in all caps. Fingers crossed for the album announcement!! It'll be interesting to see what, if anything, from the EPs will make the cut. I'm assuming that "Getting Over Him" and maybe "Getting Good" will make the cut. http://instagram.com/p/CRzHp06HdGM

Double posting to add more details:
In an interview Lauren said the album has 15 songs and only four from the EPs will make the cut. It would make sense that the singles "Getting Good" and "Getting Over Him" make it, with likely "What Do You Think Of?" also making it. The final cut could really be any of them.
If this album sounds anything like "If The World Was A Small Town", I am really going to enjoy it. She has really found her sound recently in songs like ITWWAST, Bar Back, Seen You In Your Hometown, etc. Kind of synth-y, definitely pop-leaning, and very easy to listen to. I'm so excited!

All of this information is also already located in the Upcoming Albums thread, including complete writing credits: Some co-writes with the Love Junkies. Also disappointed When The Party's Over is not Billie Eilish's cover.1) It Was Me [Lauren Alaina & Hillary Lindsey] 2) If The World Was A Small Town [Lauren Alaina, David Garcia & Josh Miller] 3) Getting Good (feat. Trisha Yearwood) [Emily Weisband] 4) Same Story, Different Saturday Night [Lauren Alaina, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna & Liz Rose] 5) On Top Of the World [Lauren Alaina, Sasha Alex Sloan & Jordan Reynolds] 6) Run [Lauren Alaina, Kennedi Lykken & Ben Johnson] 7) What Do You Think Of? (with Lukas Graham) [Lauren Alaina, Jens Carlsson & Asia Whiteacre] 8) I’m Not Sad Anymore [Lauren Alaina, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna & Liz Rose] 9) Getting Over Him (feat. Jon Pardi) [Lauren Alaina, Paul DiGiovanni & Emily Weisband] 10) Good Ole Boy [Lauren Alaina, David Garcia & Josh Miller] 11) When The Party’s Over [Lauren Alaina, David Garcia & Corey Crowder] 12) You Ain’t A Cowboy [Lauren Alaina, Parker Welling & Casey Brown] 13) Goodbye Street [Lauren Alaina, Ernest K Smith & Jacob Durrett] 14) Written In The Bar [Lauren Alaina, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna & Liz Rose] 15) Change My Mind [Lauren Alaina, Seth Ennis & Cameron Bedell] With that said, I agree that she's really found her sound lately. "If the World Was a Small Town" is by far my favorite thing she's ever released and most of the "Getting Over Him" EP is some of her best work too. I'm so glad the label is releasing this finally instead of waiting a year for GOH to (hopefully) become a hit.

I am crushed that "Bar Back" wasn't included, but nonetheless very excited for an album!

Thrilled that they only included a couple of the EP tracks for the new album! I was going to be disappointed if they followed the same format as Maddie & Tae and only included a couple "new" songs with most of the songs being carried over from the EPs. I think it's cool that they're including the Trisha version of "Getting Good" on the record, too. I like both versions about equally, but it's fun that the Trisha rendition is going to get an extra spotlight. I wish "Run" had been maybe swapped out for a different track from the EP, but she seems to love that one so I'm not surprised. Really excited that she's finally getting her third album out there and so soon! "Getting Over Him" will need awhile to turn into a hit, and I'm optimistic it will, but I am glad they're going ahead and putting the record out early instead of sitting on it. I also have to say that while the cover artwork is still not quite a home run for me, it's still a huge improvement over 90% of her covers and promotional photos from over the years. The color palette is gorgeous and she doesn't look 45 in this photo so that's a start, lol.

Does anyone know if we will get producer credits before the album officially drops? The music she has produced with Paul DiGiovanni (previously from Boys Like Girls, actually), which is basically everything since the Getting Over Him EP, has all sounded amazing.

There will be a press release talking about album details where producer credits will be mentioned. Apple Music doesn't have producer credits I think. The new song is produced by Paul DiGiovanni.

I'm excited for LA#3 but also sad that none of the tracks from the Getting Good EP made the album. I mean the title track is on there but its the inferior duet version with Trisha, which I don't hate that being included but I wish "The Other Side" had been included because I LOVE that song. Plus "Ladies In The 90s" is gonna be relegated to "Barefoot and Buckwild" non-album status now, which it definitely does not deserve. That being said more new music is always wanted as well so its hard to be too upset lol
also "Getting Over Him" needs to start moving up the charts more, love this song so much!

"It Was Me" is released today along with the Pre-Order. Incredible hook and maybe the most traditional country sounding thing she's ever written/recorded. Lauren said it is her favorite song she's ever written. This and "If the World Was a Small Town" are the two best things she's ever released, imo, so I am stoked for this album.

I actually have the Getting Over Him EP on CD. Found it at Walmart not long after it came out. Excited to finally have a full album from Lauren.

Yes, “It Was Me” is absolutely fantastic. She’s always been a stellar vocalist obviously, but she’s also blossomed into a terrific writer. Really looking forward to what she has in store for us on the new album.

So I noticed on the new album "Getting Good" features Trisha Yearwood. Did they re-record it with Trisha or was she on the original version doing background vocals?

I am in love with It Was Me...Lauren has become an extremely promising songwritter, on top of her other talents.

Week 25 on the chart, #43. Not terrible for 2021 standards but, like... it needs to pick up steam.

Just as soon as it hits the Top 40 last week on Billboard, it promptly gets kicked out and loses its bullet which I couldn't help but laugh at. I am not ready to full on give up on this song, but this song was one of only 4 songs below the Top 30 on Mediabase to lose spins.
What's frustrating is that this is on 146 of the 160 stations on Mediabase and yet it is just stuck in overnight spins. Fingers crossed this can find a lucky break and get some types of conversions sooner than later as it has been on the chart for 31 weeks and has just been doing hardly anything for a while now.
I will say of all the Lauren Alaina singles this is probably the one I have revisited the least besides "Barefoot and Buckwild". Outside of the chorus and bridge nothing of this song has stuck with me every time I have listened to this song. I hope this can succeed because it is Lauren Alaina and this song isn't bad but this isn't doing much for me.

It's sad to see this struggling the way it is since it's one of the most radio-friendly singles she's released thus far and you'd think having Jon Pardi on the song would've helped her more. I worry that if this doesn't hit, then she's never going to have another hit. 💔

This situation reminds me of Danielle Bradbery, when we thought "Now that she has Thomas Rhett on her new single, she's becoming an A lister" and well... lol look at what happened.
And since we all know there's no accounting for taste, let me say that after Road Less Travelled was released, nothing she released after that, has been a song that I can get behind, sadly.

I really had (probably foolish) high hopes for this, and it definitely still has time to turn things around, but I’m much less certain than I was even a month ago. If this can’t be a hit for her then I’m not sure anything will. It continues to baffle me that she never has problems getting adds, just getting the stations to actually play the song after they’ve added it.

It's not like she has trouble charting because she has done so with every single but yet never seems to make it past the lower 20s. I'm really not sure what her team could do to push her more. It would really be a shame if Lauren's career continues to play out like this.

Name one artist who has had only moderate radio success for just about 10 years straight and continues to chart with every single. You legitimately can't.
Even in the days before her career picked back up (and was likely nearly dropped from UMG along with Scotty), every single one of her singles ever has charted. Only one has missed the top 40 on MB. Radio has not simultaneously given the cold shoulder to and a warm welcome to anyone like they have Lauren Alaina. It's so weird.
I am not finding any reason to throw in the towel on this one by any means, but it's certainly looking a lot like "Getting Good" did about this far into the chart run.
