#71: Another Day Dawns "Beautiful Suicide" Genre: Metal
A dark song, but it rocks. They say it's about "a political climate of fear and control", but it feels more about killing yourself to escape an abuser or cruel authority figure.

#70: Kxng Crooked & One-2 "Bussa Mission" Genre: Rap
Been following Crooked since his supergroup Slaughterhouse in 2009. Over the last couple years he's released more music than I can keep up with. This was my favorite of his from 2020.

#66: Missio & Czarface "Vagabond" Genre: Alt
While their third album didn't spawn any songs that made my top 10 of the year (like their first two albums did), there were still some good songs like this one.

I'm not big on the current "mellow-indie-pop" sound, but this one stood out to me.

#64: Body Count "Point the Finger" Genre: Metal
Ice-T's been writing about racial profiling and unjustified police brutality for years. And in today's #BLM climate, why would he stop?

#61: Bob Mould "American Crisis" Genre: Rock
Bob was living overseas for a while, then came back to Trump's 2019 America and couldn't believe how divided and angry people had become in such a short time.

#72: InMe "I Swear" Metal with Powerpop vibes. maybe a little like Coheed and Cambria. Good rockin' jam.
#65: Yumi Zouma "Cool For A Second" Love the dreampop vibe of the vocals.

Hard-edge EDM scarce on words but full of awesome. PS - The video of his "crimewave" is hilarious.

#49: Easy Life "Petty Crime" Genre: Pop
Most of the new music I listen to doesn't have that 'modern laidback trap/EDM' sound. But these guys have it. And I like how they do it.

This guy was raised on death metal, then discovered EDM and hip hop. Now he mashes them together in a pretty unique style that rocks.

#46: AC/DC "Shot In The Dark" Genre: Rock
Did I step into a time machine? Someday it will be revealed that these guys recorded 200 songs back in 1980 and have just been releasing 10 at a time every few years.

#50: Avatar "Colossus" Another Great one from this band. Been charting them since "Smells Like A Freakshow"
#46: AC/DC "Shot In The Dark" This band knows how to rehash their riffs and make them sound better each time. I'm jut glad they decided to hire Brian Johnson back. I don't think this band would go well with Axel Rose.
