 Welcome to Tay's Hot 50: the 2020 Year-End Rankdown!In February 2020, I decided it would be cool to chart all of my favorite songs at the moment...so I did. I created my personal chart on February 14 and have had lots of fun with it ever since (despite letting it become backlogged for months  ) and it's been one of my favorite things to keep track of. I just revealed the 100-song year-end chart, and thought that it would be cool to do a rankdown of the top half of that rankdown---the top 50 songs of my 2020. Hi y'all! We'd normally have three days left, but I've decided to go ahead and extend the deadline by a week, to Friday, February 12. This oughta give enough time for the 2020 AAA and Country rankdowns to be fully revealed. This also alleviates a bit of stress in the country rankdown world as this had been the second of four rankdowns due on the same day. I'm at 12 lists which I'm quite pleased with, but if a few more of you want to send a list in, I'd appreciate it! Kicking things off in an overwhelmingly unanimous decision is "One of the Drunks," taken from Panic! At The Disco's 2018 album Pray For The Wicked. I loved this song when I went and gave the album a spin, so much so that I decided to chart it. It charted quite well as a Top 10 hit, peaking at #7 on the May 29 chart before quickly falling out. I love Brendon Urie's voice, and really don't find anything too wrong with this song, it's quite a fun listen. But even I put this in my bottom 2, and all but a few people had it in their bottom 10...almost everybody had this in their bottom half!!
