I see you saved the best for last. SWWWWWWWWWWEEET set of songs.
“Think About Things” - Daði Freyr
This was a super cool first listen. Like pop on fire. Didn't expect those vocals from that guy nor that sound from that bunch of musicians. My favorite Eurovisiopn song thus far. probably just under some thing like "Dancing In Heaven" - Q-Feel from 1982.
“Lie Like This” - Julia Michaels
Nice dance bop. catchy ,simple, but sexy as well. All riding on a groovy hot bassline.
“Verdades A Medias” - Laura Pausini & Bebe
Classic old school vocalist. That Bebe chick has some powerful vocal range too.
“Kingdom Come” - Anna Bergendahl
This had some Bonnie Tyler vibes.
“If The World Was Ending” - JP Saxe feat. Julia Michaels
Gave it a thumbs up for Julia. I like her tones. I can't say the same for Jp Saxe, but still a nice song.
“Communication” - Leon Of Athens feat. Katerine Duska
I remember this artist from that other song. I like the other song better, but these are male vocal tones I enjoy.
“Break My Heart” - Dua Lipa
Not as strong as the other two bigger hits, but it still has a real evident 70's disco feel.
“Te Pareces Tanto A Mí” - La Oreja De Van Gogh
You tuned me on to new LODVG. This one is an instantly catchy pop tune. This band's formula is one of a kind. I also have "Abrázame" on my radar fro followup chart action.
“Say So” - Doja Cat
I've skimmed through this one on a few other charts, but I finally gave it a thorough listen. It's a bop, and her vocals are cute.
“Blinding Lights” - The Weeknd
This guy doesn't put out bad music per say. I just have never been able to stomach his vocals. For what reason I don't know? he just tunes me out hard.
“Don't Start Now” - Dua Lipa
The song that got Dua Lipa bopping on my very 80's pop/rock/metal oriented sounding weekly top 60. I don't follow actual Pop chart, but I'm guessing this has to be one of the SWEEEEEETest poptarts of the year?
“Love Not Loving You” - Foxes
The other single was ok, but this one really bops in my direction. The bass line is pure musical hard-on. Download? Check.
“Tears Getting Sober” - VICTORIA
Her vocals are really nice. Soft but strong.
“everything i wanted” - Billie Eilish
Billie is quite the opposite. This is the one song I can give points too, but her vocals sound really week to me. At times they almost kinda dissapear.
“ABRÁZAME” - LA OREJA DE VAN GOGH
Well what do you know. You beat me to it. Epic number one song. LODG can only put out gorgeous epic ballads. last year "Intocables" was my LODVg baald fire jam.
Great 2020 chart. Just so you know, I might have to borrow some of these songs and chart them myself.
