Let's just say I had a very intense july and august 2020 in terms of love and this song and a few others from Pan were my soundtrack.. so not only does this hold a very important space in my life, it's a fucking amazing song that will be among my most played every throughout LIFE! Jorja Smith - 878 points
After a top5 finish in 2019, it was clear Jorja would be keeping up in 2021, but it wasn't expected that she would be keeping at such a high level! first, in longevity, as she's went all the way to be top50 in every single week of the year!! + managed to have one of THE songs of the summer which might have also aided her in that

#21 Halsey - 897 points
boy oh boy are we getting dangerously close to 900 points and top20! Halsey just closely didn't meet the finish line for a top20, but a #21 finish is great as well. Her standout this year is one of her greatest album tracks and a deserved single that got away, while also boosted by a Posty collab smash 'Die For Me'! I liked Manic as it grew on me over time, but I wonder how further it could have gotten had it been *better*

Ok I gotta be honest, I know she had an album in 2020 but that's like 20% of her points, this summer I got in again into the ASIB soundtrack and got even more deep into it .. ok the Ariana collab helped

Foster The People - 912 points
Another bestseller band, they keep churning out hits and vibes every single month, so they tend to stick around year-round. Worst Nites exploded right in the beginning of 2020 and helped Foster The Peepz maintain momentum throughout 2020. Another artist with 40 weeks on the chart, despite only 6 in the top10, call that big longevity!

Megan Thee Stallion - 923 points
What a freaking good year Megan has had... by the end of 2020 she's already kinda my fave new female rapper (even tho Doja is still to come in this YE), she's been scoring after scoring... and lemme just tell you she ALREADY secured a big hit for 2021 with Fckn Around.. and I just know she has much more ahead, the future is BRIGHT as fuck for her.

Roddy Ricch - 943 points
Another breakout rapper that is here to stay, Roddy has had an incredible year, even tho his top20 placing might be due to starting off the year early, he's STILL charting, so that proves the sucess was year-round. Could we be looking at another possible contender for another great 2021?

11 weeks in the top10 for this beautiful talented lady! One of the rare tiktok phenomenons that had a great discography to uncover, Supalonely kickstarted a discovery to both her and Gus and to their better songs than Supalonely it self lmao.... and now he get dangerously close to 1000+ points...top15 here we go!

Oh my God. It took me 4 pages of posts to realize this is an Artist countdown. And thank God for βBodyβ being your pick for Megan, I wouldnβt have noticed otherwise!
In any case, loving this. Canβt wait for the top 10/15 reveals :)

#15Khalid - 1004 points
Another great new artist that has been near the top for the last few years now! I became obsessed with Khalid in 2017 and this was actually an off-year for him, as he missed the top10!! He has talked about releasing recently so I'm sure 2021 will have in store good stuff!

#12Ariana Grande - 1112 points
What a year for Ariana... it's kind of underwhelming that she doesn't enter the top10, but positions came really late into the year. Still, SWU and ROM made her go well, right in the middle of the year and as the heat calmed down, BOOM! positions came to slay. Both safety net and motive are growing for me as 2021 starts, so I'm expecting this era to still give Ariana some hits.

We make a 100+ points jump to mr DaBaby..!! what a year, kicked off by Canolada Casino, carried by Pop Smoke, Megan features, protagonised by huge ROCKSTAR and ending with 4 months of a Dua SMASH!! Levitating was huge and rightfully boosted DaBaby right to the heels of a top10 of the YEAR!! next up the 10 biggest artists of the year!

SG Lewis - 1268 points What a big breakout year SG had! It all started with Chemicals breaking out super strong, and SG never left the top50 after that. Multiple hits with Clairo, producing Dua's Hallucinate. Abig year of highlights that is indeed carrying over to 2021 as Feed The Fire bops its way into my top5 this week

#9 Parcels - 1308 points
the #1 band of the year, Parcels!! Another breakout that has never charted the year, they started out the year right with mega smash Tieduprightnow and kept serving throughout the year. I have to say I'm very excited to see what they will bring next!! Also to mention that they really kickstarted the wave of huge breakouts of the year with some still above them, so it's very cute to see these juggernauts dominating!

#8 Post Malone - 1371 points
Another great year for Posty, even if with only 2019 leftovers! Boosted in early 2020 with Die For Me and Take What You Want, Posty remained in shape when I did a discography dive in mid 2020 for an ATRL game, making me find out lots of great discoveries in his discography! Another artist that spent the full year in the top50, even if with only 11 weeks in the top10! Love me some Austin Post

Billie comes off a huge 2019 to an even bigger 2020 as everything i wanted completely HOOKS me up with her whole discography! She's coming with an album in 2021 and she's coming for kills. Therefore I Am also helped keep some momentum in late 2020

Damn what a year for Harry! Adore You absolutely carrying him for the first half of the year and then absolutely nailing the post album single with Watermelon Sugar and then nailing again in the fall with Golden and Sunflower⦠pretty incredible to land at #6 based on pretty much one album only! Nicely done man!

I love me some Kevin Parker I really do. This year was all about Slow Rush and revisitinng Currents, I'm continuously obsessed with the whole of his discography's vibe and will continue to be! I just hope he finds a way into Dua's recording studio hihi, impressive top5 with only 10 weeks in the top10! also a #1 peak again!

#4Doja Cat - 1653 points
We make now a big jump to over 1500 points! Another huge breakout this year, Doja spent nearly all weeks in the top50, sans the one I still didnt know her, the first week of the year! Say So kickstarted the year's biggest breakout charting-wise, as Boss Bitch boosted early 2020, continuous Hot Pink discoveries like Rules and Cyber Sex continued that role and Like That, Baby I'm Jealous furthered that even more! And it seems 2021 is starting shining bright to Doja again!

The Weeknd - 1658 points
Mr. Abel Tesfaye delivered one of the best songs of alltime with After Hours title track period. Add to that the excellent Doja In Your Eyes Remix and Save Your Tears plus plenty of songs from Starboy coming back on the playlist shuffle by late 2020 and you got yourself a huge #3 placement in 2020. 2021 will surely be another great for him as he currently charts at #2 besides that same old hag.
