Excited to get a new full length album, but I’m disappointed that Heart First didn’t made the album. I came here to complain about the same thing!! Noooo! She’s also been performing a song called American Daughter on tour that ain’t apart of this. (Which I’m perfectly fine with to be honest - i think it’s one of her weaker efforts) Just stoked What He Didnt Do is on this. Lots of new songs we haven’t heard yet, but that song is SOOOOO good. Maybe that will be the new single. |

Very excited for this expansion to 29! Duet with Ashley McBryde and a co-write with Kelsea Ballerini (potentially a song about you-know-who being a snake and Carly giving her diamond ring back!?!?) and a bunch of McAnally co-writes too. "Dear Miss Loretta" is so country and so good. It'll be interesting to see if they actually give up on "Next Girl" and push something else soon, and if they do, what song will it be?

I am already not a fan of Nelly, but seriously he couldn't work with one women on this project with this many collaborations. This was my first thought as well. I do like that he collaborated with basically all the black male country artists in the game, but he could've *at least* thrown Mickey Guyton on something, if nothing else. I can't say I'm even remotely surprised that a Nelly project is just a bro-fest though. Oh cool! Despite not caring for his last 3 singles I do miss him because he can be very good. I wonder why no single? He’s not someone who can really pull off the surprise release IMO. I wonder if he's on his last album of his current record deal? And they are just getting it out to get it out? Yeah, that's totally the vibe I guess as well. Everything about that Billy Currington album seems like no investment being put in between it being thrown out there with no single or promo leading up to it, and the song titles and artwork also give me low-budget vibes. |
