Looking at the credits, I would have assumed this was a return to form for them considering it’s is their first album since Jekyll and Hyde not to have a writing credit from Niko Moon but the prereleased songs say otherwise.

Finally!!! A bit surprised that To A T and Diamonds are on this. And if those two are on this, wish Michigan For The Winter, which was on the same EP, made it here as well. In the same way, if Platonic is on here, wish Half Hoping made it here as well. Either way, pretty excited for this.

On the pre-order I’m looking at, there’s only 11 songs. None of the previously released songs aside from “Chasing After You” & “Coast” are on there so I’m assuming this is the deluxe tracklist you posted?

I get that it almost made the top 20 so it halfway makes sense to include on the record, but ew @ "To a T" making an appearance. On the flipside, sad that we don't get "Michigan for the Winter" aka his best song to date on his debut either.

I’m pleasantly surprised “Where I Find God” didn’t climb the charts any higher than it has so far. That song looks like it’s gonna be one of those songs that should’ve been a hit and wasn’t. Looking forward to his album though!

Excited for this and glad that Josh Turner is in the stage of his career where he can make all these fun side projects and not have to worry about or focus on if he's gonna get a sizable enough airplay hit to warrant an album release. I do miss seeing him as a presence on the charts, but I'm glad he's still able to make music and release it regularly. I am very much looking forward to when he drops a new record of original country songs again though.

Especially considering how slowly he always made music in his hit-making days, and how that pace slowed down even more when his success started to wind down... After that interminable gap between Punching Bag and Deep South, and then with how badly the latter era flopped, it seemed like he might just disappear without a trace. But then I Serve A Savior, Country State Of Mind, and now King Size Manger have all come out in about the time span it would have normally taken him to make one new album in his hit making days. I'm glad to see him doing whatever he wants, and also doing it more quickly! Lol

My first thoughts were "ew, why" but then when I hear he's singing on less than half the songs... I'm now intrigued, since his voice is really what ruins everything. 33 artists/bands is crazy, so I'm excited to see who he digs out for this project tbh. Hoping for some cool surprises.
