As much as it's billed as an "&" which typically means both artist have equal weights on the song, the fact that it is written by Kelly Clarkson but not Brett Eldredge and released on her label made me think it's her single more than his.

Yeah if you haven't listened to Brett Eldredge's last mainstream album, you should give it at least a try .indulgecountry as it is fairly different from a lot of Brett Eldredge's previous singles/albums

Brett Eldredge and "best" don't even remotely go together imo. His last album was a mild improvement over his generic radio dreck that came before it, but his vocal technique remains horrendous. He sounds more at home and tolerable singing the big band/crooner-esque Xmas music than he does on the bulk of his country material. He hasn't released anything country that I'd listen to on purpose since "Signs" and "Raymond."

Didn’t see a thread for it but Jameson Rodgers debut album came out Friday and it is a good listen IMO. “Merle Haggard” and “Girl With the Broken Heart” are my early favorites so far, but really enjoy most of them.
