Like I said:
Ugh. I am not nearly as high on "7500 OBO" as everyone else is but I really hope if this new collab is the next single it doesn't bite Tim McGraw in the butt since it seemed like the label was pretty damn close to having "7500 OBO" as the next single.

My two cents: I was elated at first for "7500 OBO" to be a single, but now that I think about it, it probably would've struggled quite a bit considering how fast country radio dropped "I Called Mama".
This is Tim's best shot at another hit and I think they had that in mind when they dropped "7500 OBO" for this.

This better be absolutely amazing for them to be dropping the Here on Earth era after a singular single, especially since there were several great options there (besides just "7500 OBO" which was supposed to be next). Tim McGraw doesn't seem to have the best acumen on what defines a good song or single choice, but I'm holding out hope that this is surprisingly good, and like lady𝓐fan said, it could be (in all fairness) his best bet at getting another big radio hit since "I Called Mama" scaled the airplay charts at a decent clip, but failed to make a big impact and he hasn't had a true smash since "Humble and Kind" now. I did really enjoy "May We All" from a years back as well, so having that in mind helps because I do know they're capable of making a good song together.

According to Billboard, a deluxe version of Here on Earth will be released this spring with this song added to it.

Listening to 15 secs preview, I know I'm likely to like this more than 7500 OBO, so excited for this. 7500 OBO is not bad, but sounds very average to me, as much as I Called Mama does.

I’m bummed “7500 OBO” was decided against when this song came up, but it makes sense for Tim and BMLG.
It’s getting an iHeartMedia world premiere next Wednesday, which means it’ll likely get a high chart debut and features one-half of FGL. As much as I love “7500 OBO,” it would’ve had a more traditional chart climb and a longer one at that. I think they know Tim is near the end of his radio career and they’ll take any opportunity they can for a world premiere like this.
Obviously, you can’t do this every time but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised they jumped at this opportunity.

That clip sounds like a FGL b-side.

Those lyrics are absolutely terrible. Musically, based on the clip, it doesn't sound that bad tho.

I dunno, maybe i need to wait to hear the whole thing but that clip makes me think this is totally not a Tim McGraw song. Maybe that is because of the FGL guy also on the song but it just also sounds too much like an FGL song. It feels like Tim is selling himself short just to get another hit. Maybe i’ll change my mind after i hear the whole thing but just hearing that clip thats how it feels like to me

I do like this but part of me feels as though Tyler wanted to write and sing a song about unity without actually mentioning any of the issues that are currently causing unrest and division in America.

Straight into my playlist! Safe but pleasant melody and production. Happy this is chosen as a single, as I was not particularly into 7500 OBO.

I will be honest, it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Still, it does nothing for me. I'm sorry if it sounds mean but I hope it flops hard, as I'm really tired of these FGL guys and anything they put out. I don't want this song to encourage radio to pay attention to Hubbard's solo material, but I'm afraid that's exactly what is going to happen.

I'm pleasantly surprised, I actually like this quite a bit on first listen. I like the instrumentation and their voices actually blend well together, the lyrics aren't bad either. This may end up being a pretty big hit for them.

The single cover is really eye catching.
The song is horrible, those lyrics in the chorus are corny and just bad. It sounds like a singalong song that came from Sesame Street. Tim’s verse is OK, Tyler’s is sooooooo bad.
“7500 OBO” was right there.

I don't think this song is bad, but man is it so boring, and Tyler Hubbard sounds awful. That and I don't need "Be A Light" part 2 where it sounds just as cliche and non descriptive as that song did.

It’s not horrible but it’s not good either, he had so many good options on the album and it’ll be a shame to not see any of them see radio.
Also I find it hilarious that the first song without the other from either Tyler or Brian is called “Undivided” lol

Well they really pulled this out of their ass in a hurry, didn't they? The music video actually being Tim reading the lyrics from a phone while recording the song. Now watch this take almost a full year to peak at #16 and by then the entire Here on Earth era will be long dead.

Now watch this take almost a full year to peak at #16 and by then the entire Here on Earth era will be long dead. I have seen Luke Combs and others read lyrics from their phone in studio session videos recently. Artists have always had lyrics printed out in front of them in the studio just like session musicians have charts in front of them. They often are filled with notes on how to sing certain lines. The phone simply replaces the need to have it on paper.

That video isn't the official music video, just a video they shot in the studio the night they recorded the song. They are currently in the process of filming a music video.

The video is currently impossible to watch, it says it has been set 'private'. Not the best management on Tim's end...

I removed the post which included the video which I know now wasn't the official video for the song as an earlier poster just said above this post.

Debuts at #32 on MB as a result of a deal I'm assuming, but I feel like this is on the bigger side of deal-fueled debuts - are deal-fueled debuts usually as high as this?
