Don’t know if this has been mentioned yet but Tim stated in an interview on The Highway that they are releasing a deluxe version of Here On Earth with this on it plus a few more other new songs.

I'll eat my crow. I wasn't a fan when I heard the clip on Twitter ... but after streaming the entire song a few times, I kinda enjoy this. Nice effort ... not overproduced ... and a pretty good fit on today's country radio.

Lmao for some reason I instantly thought of Lonestar’s "Mr. Mom" in the opening instrumental.
This ain’t half bad! Nothing groundbreaking but I definitely won’t change the station when this comes on.

This is passable, but definitely wouldn't make my top 5 or even close to it from the original Here on Earth record we got a few months back. I get why they're releasing this and it's honestly probably a smart move for Timmy with respect to maintaining radio relevancy and hype, but there were so many better options on the album he literally just released. So, I'm still annoyed by this whole rollout. Hope it does well for him and he can maybe still release at least another 1-2 singles from the initial project later on, since "Undivided" is gonna be tacked onto the record.

I love Tim, but this song is so vague and pandering to a certain sector of the fanbase that I simply can't like it. This wishy-washy song is as generic as they come and miles away from Humble and Kind. While you can argue both are preachy, the second at least feels quite honest and sincere, while Undivided feels like a poorly timed feel good song at best.

Debuts at #26 on Mediabase. Very impressive debut even with the iHeartMedia of it all. I have to imagine the second week when this inevitably falls back won't be too bad at all.

This probably explains why "7500 OBO" was pulled in lieu of this song as the opportunity to perform this at the inauguration come into play. Anyways, I wonder what Florida thinks of this

Tim’s taking a lot of heat on his Facebook page.. :(
I know a lot of people voted for Trump (including some of my family members ugh), but it’s so frustrating to me that people can’t see how awful of a person he is, and how inept of a “leader” he was. It’s mind boggling to me.

I like this but not as much as “7500 OBO” which I still think will get released as a single. I think this will end up being a top 10 single for Tim & Tyler.

I didn't know where to post this but as I've said in other threads I like to download any song that enters the top 40 on Billboard Country Airplay and other charts the top 20 or top 10. My question is am I the only one that's anal about having the actual album track when it comes out over the one that says for instance "Undivided - Single"?

I suspect this is going to be a big song, but it leaves me feeling cold. I don't think you can "unite" without addressing the issues that have caused the divide. I was reading a piece earlier today about how White Dems and Republicans could unite, but only if they're willing to sacrifice the rights of P.o.C. and then saw a tweet saying that country has spent the last decade calling for unite, while ignoring the issues. And I think that hits it on the head the issues I have with this song

I hate this, it's so cheesy and the lyrics themselves are actually pretty terrible. We were screwed out of "7500 OBO" for this? Lame.

Wonder if this one is starting to stall out soon or if it's just a temporary blip, but it hasn't been doing so hot with its recent updates. Hard to tell with country radio because it's so tumultuous, but its performance lately doesn't seem the most promising. Tim McGraw doesn't have the clout that he used to with radio, so it wouldn't surprise me if this one were to ultimately fall short of the top 10. Still early though of course, so I suppose we'll see.

This one's definitely not doing that great at radio. "Undivided" has gained no net audience on Mediabase in the last month and just 250 spins gained over the last four weeks.
I've seen songs turn things around before with gains similar to that but it's clear there's resistance from programmers; the daytime conversions are just not happening right now.

They should've just stuck to the original plan and released "7500 OBO".

I hope they still go back to "7500 OBO" after this. What a disgrace that would be if they don’t.

A shame they opted for this over 7500 OBO. That one would have at least matched this peak or most likely done better.

I feel like they were right to go with this one instead of another single from the original album. I feel like whatever Tim McGraw released from the album was gonna have to really trudge through the 30s and 40s where as at least this song got a head start from the jump.
Also while this song is slow moving right now, it's not done yet and it is young enough that it can grab a second wind.

what a bad choice for them to release this one over 7500 OBO or Hard to Stay Mad At. Those two songs would have taken a very long time to climb the charts, but I think both could've gone to #1.
Even if "Undivided" rebounds, there's no way for it to reach number 1. It didn't even sell/perform all that well on streaming.
The result of this huge waste of time is that probably "Hard to Stay Mad at" will never be released to radio, which is a shame as it's one of the best love songs Tim has ever recorded.

I know people are gonna claim that "if *insert song from previous album* was released to radio instead of "Undivided" it would have been a hit" and I don't agree. Mainly because I think Tim McGraw's best shot at a hit are lead esque singles that pretty much get to cut right through the 30s and 40s right away. I mean we all saw in 2019 how long it took for "Thought About You" to climb and peak on the chart and I suspect that probably would have been the case with whatever was released. I just think "I Called Mama" is the exception to the norm and that most of what Tim McGraw releases will just fizzle out in the teens and that includes everything on his last album.

I hope there's still a chance they can circle back to a song from the OG album because there's a lot of genuinely great songs on there and I'd hate to see them potentially end the era after "Undivided," but it wouldn't totally surprise me to see them go that route. I do think this was initially a good choice to make as it was a very timely release and dropping something brand new AND it being a collab w/ Tyler Hubbard of FGL gave him some built-in hype at a time when he needed some, but the song just... didn't go hard enough. This was never a strong song and I'm not surprised it brickwalled in the teens, or that it failed to move the needle in a big way, even despite it being a high profile collab. Fingers crossed they release a great tune like "7500 OBO" to radio and that even if it climbs slowly, it can still be a solid hit for him.

I'm not saying that those songs would've been #1 hits but simply that they could have been. I agree with you that it is harder for him to score a couple hits off of an album now, but I felt like both songs I mentioned had way more potential than "Undivided". I get the strategy of releasing something new, but it was simply not very good.
