Her pop material shines , her R&B material has its moments however it falls flat , the low points are very low. Should she go back to pop.

Ariana Grande is excellent in R&B, she just needs to polish the songwriting, but her voice perfectly suits the genre, and it feels very authentic to her. All her albums, even the poppier ones like "My Everything" and "Dangerous Woman", still have some traces of R&B, and personally, that's always where she shined the most for me, as much as I enjoy her pop material as well.
Now the trap-pop fusion has more mixed results, and that's where her most subpar and generic material lies. And even then, we still get gems like "bad idea", "everytime", and "God is a woman".
